Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody

Chapter 636: Accusation 📜

Published: September 10, 2025

The timeline rewinds just a bit.

From Arisa’s perspective.

“It seems Master got caught in God Zaikuon’s trap.”

“Caught in a trap” isn’t just a little thing!

I internally scoffed at Master’s words arriving via clan communication.

“Looks like we’re going too.”

“It’s fine. I have no intention of falling into the same trap twice.”

“But—”

The clan communication cut off mid-conversation.

“Hey! Master! We’re not done talking yet!”

I shouted, but there was no response from Master.

The clan communication shouldn’t have been cut, but it felt like a thin membrane blocked my words from reaching him.

“Arisa.”

“Is something wrong with Satou?”

Mia and Mito looked at me with worried expressions.

Right after Master called Aze-tan’s name and teleported, I had joined Mito, who had already returned to the Royal Capital Residence with Mia.

Since Ms. Liza and the others were training in the otherworld using Master’s unique skill, I asked Nana to fetch them through the Isolated Island Palace. They should join us soon.

“We’re fighting God Zaikuon. My offer to go provide support was rejected.”

Seriously, he’s so overprotective.

“Hmph.”

“Even at level 99, I guess I still look like a reckless child to Satou.”

“Honestly, it’s about time he learned to rely on others.”

Mia, Mito, and I sighed together.

Well, that’s just Master’s nature; I suppose it can’t be helped.

“Arisa, what about Aze?”

“He didn’t say anything about Aze-tan, but Master sounded normal, so I don’t think he’s seriously injured.”

I told Mia what I inferred from Master’s voice to ease her worries about Aze-tan.

“Good, that’s a relief.”

Mia nodded with a relieved look, and we began preparing for what was next.

We moved to Duke Mitsukuni’s mansion and brought out a large air carrier from a spatial magic “garage” created in the vast garden.

There were hedge-like trees along the mansion’s outer walls, so I don’t think the ship is visible from neighboring estates, but we deployed “spatial camouflage (camouflage field)” just in case.

This air carrier was developed as a light aircraft carrier to catapult launch the reinforced exteriors of Ms. Liza and her team.

I’ve been trying to convince Master to combine my staff ship, Mia’s staff ship, Lulu’s gunship, and Nana’s shield ship into a divine-war combat ship, but so far I haven’t gotten him to agree.

I really want Master to understand the romance of combining ships.

“Arisa, why bring out such a big one?”

“This is the only ship equipped with the function to access artificial satellites.”

I answered Mito’s question simply.

The jellyfish monitoring satellites launched by the Elves can also be used to observe conditions on the ground.

The resolution of the telephoto lenses is low, so we can’t distinguish individual people, but we should be able to detect major anomalies on the surface.

Recently, when I sought ways to increase the enemy detection range beyond Master’s own, this ship was given to me, so I decided to make immediate use of it.

With Tina-sama’s drone golem, the monitoring range drops to just a few cities at best.

“Mia, help me.”

“On it.”

Mia needed to authenticate the satellite access.

“Let me do something too.”

“Sure, Mito, help me check the monitors.”

There’s no way I could check everything alone.

As we prepared to board the air carrier, a scarlet gale appeared before us.

“Arisa! What about Master?!”

It was Ms. Liza.

“Emergency~?”

“It’s an emergency dispatch!”

“Arisa, please report the current situation.”

Tama, Pochi, and Nana arrived shortly after Liza.

Following Zena-tan’s flight magic, Karina, enhanced by Laka, hopped in, and the rest of the team arrived aboard Tina-sama’s flying golem.

“All assembled. Master is fighting God Zaikuon.”

Everyone’s expressions changed.

Some were simply shocked, others trembled with anticipation of battle, some looked worried—but most were concerned for Master’s safety.

“No need to worry. Master is okay.”
