※This time, the perspective is not Satou’s. It is from a “third-person” viewpoint.
“――Shall we return the conversation to the heroes soon?”
Pressed by the women who loved romance stories, Satou, having finished recounting his encounter with Sera, steered the conversation back.
“Sorry. It was so enjoyable that I forgot. Next was hero Yuuki, right?”
“I believe we were talking about Yuuki being a mage-type hero.”
Responding to Merryest’s confirmation, Lady Ringlande nodded.
“A mage-type hero means someone who can wield powerful magic like Lady Merryest, right?”
“I don’t intend to lose when it comes to thunder magic, my specialty, but unfortunately, my fire magic can’t match that of a hero. My control and precision are lacking, so against opponents with high anti-magic abilities or lone strong foes, I might still be superior.”
Merryest answered Satou’s question.
“Well, no one is as capable as Yuuki when it comes to eliminating large hordes of monsters.”
“That is power granted by God Parion, after all.”
Hearing the two, Satou recalled his own meteor shower and strangely empathized with the difficulty of managing such power.
“So, what kind of personality does hero Yuuki have?”
“Somewhat self-righteous in speech, but very eager to acquire knowledge and exceptionally diligent in training.”
Merryest answered Satou’s question with tact.
Satou felt he had a rough understanding of Yuuki’s character and nodded along.

“What is going on? There are hardly any enemies.”
On the bridge of an airship floating over the Little Sand Sea, hero Yuuki vented his frustration to his attendants.
“Even with the wind magic users scouting, only a small number of monsters have been detected.”
“That Seigi is useless.”
Grumbling, hero Yuuki directed the airship’s bow toward the Royal Capital of the Sania Kingdom for resupply.
“――What’s that?”
At the front row of the bridge, Yuuki noticed the corpse of a gigantic monster crashed into the harbor facilities of the Royal Capital.
The corpse was so massive that the golems dismantling it looked like sesame seeds.
“Meiko isn’t here, is she?”
“No, she shouldn’t be.”
“Seigi couldn’t do that, and it seems there are strong beings in this world.”
Yuuki smirked.
Soon, a winged attendant who had gone to gather information on the ground returned.
“Report, Mikael.”
Without even a word of thanks, Yuuki commanded the attendant, who folded her colorful wings.
“I am Mieka.”
“Just report.”
Despite correcting him multiple times, Yuuki kept calling her Mikael. Sighing, the winged attendant relayed the information she had gathered.
“That is said to be the ancient monster called the ‘Land King’ that the ancient dog-headed king commanded during the mythological era.”
“A mythological monster, huh.”
“The army of the evil gods……”
At the attendant’s report, other attendants could not hide their astonishment.
“I’ve read the myth involving the Land King. It’s a monster stronger than an ordinary Demon King, right?”
The attendants nodded at Yuuki’s words.
“Who defeated it?”
“From the Shiga Kingdom――”
“Hero Nameless?”
Yuuki guessed the likely candidate for such a great feat.
“No, it was Count Pendragon, the demon king slayer.”
Yuuki recalled that name as the lustful demon god Meiko once met in a Saga Empire café.
“A Japanese pretending to be Arthur… what a pain.”
Though never having met him, Yuuki felt a strange rivalry toward the demon king slayer.
“――Huh? Isn’t that thing moving?”
Yuuki noticed part of the Land King’s corpse beginning to move.
Though voices couldn’t be heard from here, the golems and workers dismantling the corpse scattered like spiders fleeing when the corpse moved and crushed buildings.
“Undead Land King?”
When the sound of buildings collapsing arrived moments later, Yuuki murmured information from his “Analyze” skill granted by God Parion.
