I’m Satou. I learned the word "quest" from games. Back then, it was just a small event you could start whenever you liked, but recently, quests have become more diverse—they can start suddenly and disappear after a while. I’m looking forward to seeing what kinds of quests will appear next.

“Eh, that’s just a fetch quest, isn’t it?”
“Yeah, even God Tenion was laughing.”
Right after Arisa recovered from her cold, we gathered everyone for a briefing.
“Huh, that’s kind of different from the image I have of my god.”
Arisa frowned with a complicated expression.
“And I thought gods only spoke in broken phrases.”
“Was it the same when you reincarnated, Arisa?”
Shizuka, the former Demon King who happened to drop by, asked in response to Arisa’s words.
“Yeah, it wasn’t exactly broken phrases, more like overlapping meanings mixed into one image.”
“That sounds the same. Yuika said something similar before.”
Apparently, Shizuka and little imp princess Yuika already knew each other.
Both of them are introverted types with strong feminine skills, so maybe that’s why they get along.
“When I first talked with it, it was like that too. I guess fluent conversation was thanks to Sera-san?”
“That’s nothing. —Perhaps this is what’s called support behind the scenes.”
Sera, sitting beside me with a calm face, wrapped her arm around mine and rested her head on it.
“““Ah!”””
“Guilty!”
Seeing that, Arisa, Hikaru, Miss Karina, and Core Two all shouted, while the female teacher Mia, dressed like a schoolteacher, climbed onto my lap and pronounced words of judgment.
Hikaru, who hadn’t been feeling well, seemed to have gotten over it after burying the overlord in that general’s tomb, and had been showing a lively face these past few days.
Core Two, the homunculus for external dungeon core exploration who hadn’t appeared for a while, apparently got hooked on collecting shellfish on the coastal rocks.
I don’t know what was so fun about that, but the reason we had so many shellfish dishes at the table turned out to be because of her.
Meanwhile, Lul and Ms. Zena were silently looking at Sera with envy.
Tama and Pochi have been playing under my feet on the sofa, circling around with such enthusiasm they’re almost turning into butter. They’re probably bored of the difficult conversation by now.
“Sera-sama, being so clingy in public is a bit improper, you know.”
Princess Sistina gently scolded Sera with a composed expression.
Arisa and Mia exchanged words like, “Grrr, the air of a legitimate wife candidate?” “Denied, number one.”
“Apologies. It became a habit since it happened every day until we returned from the Duke’s Capital.”
Sera dropped a bombshell.
The truth is, after witnessing Lady Ringlande’s excessive affection towards me, Sera got jealous and clung to me like that.
As Lady Ringlande’s touch is a way to get Sera’s attention, I don’t think she has romantic feelings for me—at least, I hope not.
“Satou, hierarchy is important. Before you get distracted by Sera-sama’s charms, you must fulfill your duties with Lady Mito and me.”
“—Duties?”
Hikaru tilted his head at Princess Sistina’s words.
Duties? You mean the noble obligation of producing offspring?
It’s way too soon when we’re not even married.
“W-wait a minute!”
Arisa slammed her hand on the table and shouted.
“We’re first in line! Lulu, me, Mia, and Aze-tan already have a reservation.”
“Objection. Fiancé goes first.”
“Tama too~”
“Pochi will become Master’s wife as well!”
The younger group eagerly jumped on Arisa’s words.
Yeah, please do your best to keep things vague.

“By the way, how was Mito’s hero summoning? You met God Parion, right?”
“Eh? Well, I heard the god’s voice during the old divine punishment, and it was the same experience. I think it’s probably the same for Arisa and the others too.”
When Hikaru was summoned as a hero in the Saga Empire, God Parion apparently mediated.
