This is Satou. When acquaintances know each other, people often just say, "The world is small, isn't it?" But it seems things are a bit different in another world.
â
"Huh? Marstil? Is that beautiful lady your current Master?"
âA nostalgic name. Knowing that name means you are not a descendant of Yamato, but Shiga Yamato himself, right?â
âSo, Raka and Hikaru knew each other?
Marstil must have been Raka's old name.
Before Hikaru could say something in agreement, I stopped her.
"Ah, um! Wasnât Mito-san your childhood friend, Satou-san?"
"You there, is that true?"
"Y-Yes."
Sera-san, who had keenly caught Zena-sanâs remark, questioned.
Come to think of it, these two hadnât met before.
"Raka-san, do you know each other?"
âYes. She is the queen whom some generations ago my master served. Lady Karina occasionally mentioned the King Ancestor Yamato in rumors, and that girl is her.â
Raka answered Lady Karinaâs question. Despite my effort to stop Hikaru from speaking, it was pointless.
"Too close."
Arisa, who had been quietly watching from my feet, separated me and Hikaru.
For some reason, Hikaruâs face was red, but there were more important things to do now.
"Satou-san, I have a questionâ"
Sera-san started seriously, but I raised my index finger to press against her lips and stopped her.
I could easily confuse the three of them here.
I could admit Hikaru as King Ancestor Yamato and say, âI was trained by her from a young age and got stronger.â
However, now that I can use silent casting and secure a base and manipulate enemiesâ hearts, there is no need to lie to close friends.
"âOnce you hear it, thereâs no turning back. Do you still want to know?"
Of course, this only applies if the other party understands the disadvantages and still wants to know the truth.
"Yes."
Sera-san answered without hesitation.
Her temperament is hot-headed, unlike her graceful appearance.
If anyone else heard, they might dislike it, but this trait might run in her familyâlike her older sister Lady Ringlande.
"I want to know too."
Zena-san answered next.
She seemed a bit hesitant but said it firmly with a sharp look.
"âI-I also want to... know about Satou..."
Lastly, Lady Karina affirmed in a trembling voice.
â
"Then, I shall tell you."
I entrusted Arisa and Hikaru with what comes next and brought the three to the âIvy Manorâ in Labyrinth City Selbira.
I couldnât go to Pendragon Mansion or Echigoya Mansion, and I couldnât think of any other place with lighting at night and perfect counterintelligence.
"Wh-where is this?"
"Ivy Manor in Labyrinth City Selbira."
I told the facts to Zena-san, who had just snapped back to reality.
"Th-That canât be! We were in the Royal Capital just a moment ago!"
"Is that true, Raka-san?"
âForgive me, Lady Karina, I am not so omnipotent.â
To calm the surprised crowd, I passed through the entrance hall and headed to the reception room.
While moving, Leliril, who looked half-asleep, appeared from the managerâs room.
"Satou-sama! You have arrived!"
"Hey, Leliril. Weâll borrow the reception room."
"Th-Then Iâll bring some tea."
Lelirilâs tongue was already tied as it was early at night.
"Donât bother with the tea, you should sleep. We can have tea tomorrow."
"Fuaai, good night."
I laid the swaying Leliril down on the managerâs room bed, apologized to the waiting three, and settled into the reception room.
"Um, who was that girl just now?"
"Ah, sheâs the manager here, a house brownie named Leliril."
I answered Zena-sanâs question briefly.
âThe sage Torazayuuyaâs âIvy Manorâ... so Satou-san is...â
Sera-san muttered in a low voice, which was a bit scary.
I took tea and sweets out from storage and arranged them on the table to start the story.
No one questioned how these items suddenly appeared, probably because they were surprised by the unit placement.
"Then, Iâll reveal my true identity."
Since itâs a good chance, Iâll go in chronological order.
"Once, I was the Silver Mask who defeated the high-rank demon in Seryu City."
