Satou here. In shonen manga, battles keep coming one after another, and everyday scenes feel like mere breaks between fights. But when you actually find yourself in such a situation, you tend to want to take a break in a peaceful place and hold off on battles for a while.

“Ten-chan, I’m fallinggggg~~”
With Mito’s scream echoing, the Celestial Dragon fled back toward the Mount Fuji Mountain Range.
Judging by the movement of the light points, it seems Mito and the homunculus Tenchang were with it.
If they don’t return before we depart from the Royal Capital, we’ll go to the Mount Fuji Mountain Range ourselves to meet Mito.
...Oh, right, I forgot to retrieve the Celestial Dragon’s dropped scales.
I could just leave them there, but if some strange gold rush breaks out, it’ll cause trouble for the local farmers. Better to collect them quickly.
◇
Humming happily, I returned to the Pendragon Mansion.
Actually, as soon as I finished collecting the scales, I got a call on the infinite distance communication (world phone) from Ms. Aze, who was worried about me.
— Ms. Aze looked so cute being anxious and panicked.
Since my kids were still asleep, I changed into casual clothes and headed downstairs.
There, the day staff servants had all gathered.
“““Good morning, Master.”””
“Ah, good morning.”
I responded briskly to their morning greetings and told the old butler that anyone whose family was affected by yesterday’s incident could rest.
“Thank you for your concern—”
According to the old butler, the families of the day staff were safe.
A blue light point appeared on my radar, signaling an acquaintance.
I instructed the old butler to let my kids sleep in the bedrooms upstairs until they woke up, and then headed toward the entrance hall.
“Master, you have a visitor.”
“Good morning, Satou.”
It was Sera, dressed in priest’s robes, who came in through the front door guided by a maid.
Despite the recent incident, it’s surprising that the Duke Oyugok and his vassals allowed her to go out.
“Good morning, Sera. What brings you here so early?”
“Sorry to bother you so early. Satou, actually, I have a favor to ask—”
Serra hesitated a bit before asking to accompany her on an inspection tour of the city.
Of course, it wasn’t for sightseeing but to help heal the severely injured people in the Royal Capital.
Although the people had already been healed by Nameless, I couldn’t say that as Satou.
Anyway, Sera already had about four knight bodyguards accompanying her to my mansion.
When I checked with her, she said that the Duke Oyugok stipulated that for her to leave the Noble District, she had to be accompanied by me.
Hearing that alone, one might mistakenly think the duke was trying to matchmake us, but the real reason is probably that by assigning me, he could have the likes of Liza—who can match the eight swords of shiga—assigned as her protectors.
I happily accepted Sera’s request and toured the Royal Capital with the female knight escorts giving me appraising looks.

“Despite this much damage, there are no injured people anywhere.”
“Yes, that’s true—”
I nodded at Sera’s puzzled words.
This area is the wealthy district, so golems, slaves, and servant-like men were gathering to clear debris.
I also saw magic soldiers and robe-clad magicians repairing sunken streets.
Watching all that, we moved past the wealthy district into the general citizen district.
Though it had only been two hours since dawn, the citizens had already cooperated to start cleaning up collapsed houses.
Here, magicians and golems were almost nowhere to be seen.
When the citizens noticed us inspecting, they stopped what they were doing and bowed deeply, so we tried to keep moving without hindering their work.
“Princess, despite all the surrounding houses being badly damaged, not a single piece of rubble is on the roads.”
“Yes, the Royal Capital’s sappers must be very capable.”
One of the escort knights spoke admiringly to Sera as they rode on.
