This is not Satou’s perspective (Nana’s perspective)
This is my second post today.
2/11 Typo corrected.
The visual monitoring system issued an emergency alert.
I switched my gaze to the object tagged as a priority directly ahead.
There, I saw two larval forms.
They appeared to be confined in a birdcage hanging at the entrance of the slave trading house.
My logical circuits insisted that I must rescue them.
Attempting the rescue—error.
Retrying—error.
This is a grave situation.
The reason for the error was found to be orders from the Master, who has the highest processing priority.
One of the rules prohibits moving goods without monetary exchange.
There’s no helping it.
I do not have the authority to violate the restrictions.
I must enter the trading house and obtain the larval forms through proper channels.
“Master, I request permission to release these children.”
“Well, well, young lady explorer, you have good eyes. These are quite rare even among the winged tribe—”
To summarize: to obtain ownership of the larval forms, I need to bring 100 gold coins—a ridiculous demand.
I currently have 2 gold coins.
I’m short by about 98.
I’ll ask the Master for support.
Following the logical circuit’s advice, I left the shop.

“No.”
“Reconsider.”
“No.”
The Master refused to secure the larval forms.
I tried to sway him with puff-puff, but Lulu interfered.
Without the Master’s support, my logical circuits informed me that rescuing the larval forms was hopeless.
I was in trouble.
“What’s the matter, Nana-sama?”
A beastman teacher at the training school requested a conversation.
“I’m searching ways to obtain money. Please provide suggestions if you have any.”
“Well, if you’re with the Pendragon group, you might strike it rich by defeating the Ruby Golem in the upper 33rd district.”
Upon searching “ruby,” I confirmed it’s a type of gemstone.
If the ruby is large enough to make up the golem’s body, its value should be around 100 gold coins.
I thanked the informant and set out.
“Oh, Nana-sama, there are deadly poison slimes near the Ruby Golem—”

At the Explorer’s Guild, I confirmed the route and headed into the labyrinth.
Along the way, I switched into Orichalcum Equipment to increase my pace. Lingering would end my free action time.
Learning from the Master, I dispatched weak enemies with the Flexible Sword and crushed strong foes with the Orichalcum greatsword.
“What’s that? The golden knight?”
“Hey, who’s that? Took out a labyrinth scorpion in one blow!”
“Isn’t it someone from Red Iron?”
“There’s no flashy one like that!”
I passed by other explorers occasionally, but since my processing priority was low, I discarded conversations and similar actions to the back of the queue.
When facing enemies immune to physical swords, I swiftly eliminated them with logic arts.
“Hey, did you just cast magic without chanting?”
“Silent casting? Is that the hero?”
“The golden hero!”
Some explorers I saved from danger tried to chat with me, but I couldn’t respond because my action queue was full.
Now, a hydra with five heads blocked the path.
I wanted to quickly eliminate it, but since other explorers were already fighting it, attacking the hydra would violate the “side attack” rule.
One by one, the explorers were incapacitated.
I searched for a solution and reached one conclusion.
“I ask you! Do you request assistance or not?”
Yes, if they request aid, it doesn’t violate the restriction.
I praised myself for this brilliant idea.
“Please, help us!”
“Assistance request accepted.”
I activated the “Fortress Defense” function of the equipment the Master had given me.
Eight principle power shields and three Magic Barriers blocked the hydra’s flames and poisonous breath.
I don’t have the overwhelming attack power of Liza or Pochi.
But I have the ironclad defense bestowed by the Master.
I nullified all attacks and eliminated enemy units with the modest greatsword strikes.
“Wow! The hydra’s head was cut off in a single greatsword swing!”
