Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody

Chapter 29: The Little Girl and the Night's Commotion 🌙👧

Published: August 31, 2025

I’m Satou. They say bad bonds run deep, but it’s always with the people you don’t like that these rotten ties get the strongest.

Sometimes, I wish I could be with someone who’s right in the center of my preferences.

A naked little girl is straddling my waist.

…What is this? It must be a dream, right?

It’s similar to when I used to jump onto my younger siblings or cousins sleeping at my grandfather’s countryside house during long holidays to wake them up.

The difference is that this little girl is naked, and unlike my cousins, she doesn’t have such an innocent vibe.

After trembling slightly, she finally shudders deeply and leans against my bare chest. Her expression is more that of a woman than a little girl.

Though I try to observe calmly, I’m actually very flustered. I’m not a lolicon! Definitely not!

So why am I in this situation?!

After buying two of them from Mr. Nidoren, the slave trader, we...

“Day and night, I will tirelessly serve my Master with all my energy.”

The purple-haired little girl—Arisa—said that during the slave contract ceremony. Liza and the black-haired girl, Lulu, were silent, so maybe that was her way of appealing.

After finishing the slave contract ceremony, I paid Mr. Nidoren one gold coin. He said he’d be at the same place until the morning after tomorrow, so if I wanted to buy more slaves, I could come anytime.

We made them introduce themselves outside the tent.

“Well then, let me formally introduce myself. I was born in the now-defunct Kubork Kingdom. My name is Arisa. I am eleven years old, with four years until adulthood, but even though I’m inexperienced, I am happy to serve at night as well. Please be kind to me for a long time.”

She gave a surprisingly mature greeting for her age, then gently pinched the edges of her skirt and bowed. Her movements were elegant and refined, but since her simple clothing was short and just fastened in front, the tops of her thighs were exposed.

I shifted my gaze back to her face and casually replied, “Likewise. My name is Satou.”

“…I’m Lulu. I’m fourteen years old, from the Kubork Kingdom. Though I’m an ugly woman with a frail body… I don’t think I’m fit to accompany at night, but I’ll work like cattle or horses… so please don’t abandon me.”

Lulu introduced herself while hiding her face behind her bangs and looking down. Her voice was clear, different from a voice actor’s tone, but a pleasant soprano. It would have been better if she hadn’t been trembling.

She called herself frail, but she probably had a B cup, and at fourteen, that’s promising, right? Am I some kind of extreme bust enthusiast? If it’s soft, it should be fine!

Anyway, calling herself ugly with that beauty might get her stabbed even if it’s modesty. Her hiding behind her bangs made her look like Sadako, but compared to winners of nationwide beauty contests I saw on TV long ago, she was a definite winner with a classic beauty.

To put it bluntly, I like her. If only she had a personality I liked, I might consider proposing after she turned twenty.

Arisa and Lulu didn’t seem to have any prejudice against demi-humans; they showed no disgust when the beast girls took off their hoods to reveal their faces. Lulu was scared of Liza, but it wasn’t hatred. Maybe demi-humans aren’t hated by people from other countries?

Pochi and Tama were shy at first, but they quickly adapted once Arisa and Lulu interacted normally.

“Shall we head back to the inn?”

I called out to the five and we headed back. Arisa smoothly took my left arm and entwined hers around it. Pochi and Tama competed for the other arm, and since they couldn’t settle it, Liza picked up both of them like luggage. They gave up and hung their arms and legs limply, becoming quiet. ...I like that pose.

Kyuru kyuru kyu~~.

A cute sound came. Looking back, Lulu was blushing. The sight of a beautiful girl shyly embarrassed is adorable. Not a romantic interest yet, but I’m looking forward to the future.
