This is Satou. When undertaking a big task, listing out what needs to be done and prioritizing those tasks helps the work progress smoothly. However, be careful not to forget dependencies when setting priorities because that will lead to failure. For example, checking the completion of Process A before actually creating Process A is pointless.

“How does it look? While there are many slave trading houses in the Royal Capital, only our Orieldo Trading Company can boast such a variety of goods.”

At the merchant’s signal, about ten beautiful women and girls entered the room. Each wore only a single thin, short garment, making it quite a feast for the eyes.

I had come all the way to the Royal Capital to acquire personnel with a certain skill necessary for my plan.

“Orieldo, I said I came to buy knowledge slaves, didn’t I?”

“Yes, of course. All these girls can read and write, and in addition, they have been well trained for other duties.”

I double-checked the girls’ skills. Only the daughters of former nobles from Selsiorque had the Shiga Kingdom language skill, so I couldn’t judge by skill alone. Selsiorque was the country where Princess Menea’s former fiancé came from, and it was said to have been destroyed by the weasel tribe.

I checked them one by one and confirmed that among them was a girl with the skill I was looking for.

I listened lazily as the slave trader sequentially explained each girl’s skills and selling points.

“Keep the second and third from the right, and also the girl on the far left. Yes, keep that red-haired girl as well.”

“Understood, sir.”

After about ten minutes of explanations, I had them clear out, leaving the target girl and three decoys behind. Among the decoys I kept were former noble daughters and a girl who could use life magic.

At the slave trader’s signal, the girls shed their thin garments onto the floor.

Well, it was a feast for the eyes, but I wasn’t looking for that kind of service.

“How much is each priced at?”

“Yes, this former duke’s daughter is 300 Large Copper Coins. Though from a small country, she carries royal blood and is an excellent girl with skills not only in etiquette but also in Shiga Kingdom language and poetry recitation.”

She seemed somewhat strong-willed. Pale-skinned, with an average chest but a rather childbearing-ready waist. Her luxurious blonde curly hair clung sensuously to her body. Seventeen years old. Level 4.

“This former count’s daughter is 200 Large Copper Coins. She is of lesser lineage than the previous girl, but she is obedient and has a solid body, so she will be useful in many ways.”

This timid-looking girl had a nearly D-cup chest and was also pale-skinned. She had soft, silver straight long hair and beautiful blue eyes. Her skills included etiquette and Shiga Kingdom language. Sixteen years old. Level 3.

This was just the prelude. Next was the main target.

“This girl originally served as the heraldry officer at Count Lesseu’s castle. She was enslaved for supposedly being rude to Count Lesseu. Though her body looks somewhat young, her ice-like translucent beauty is sure to bloom in the future. Her skills are heraldry and naming — plain, but she can read and write and is skilled at document management, so she will surely be of use to you, merchant. Her price is somewhat low at 30 Large Copper Coins.”

This girl, with dead-fish eyes that seemed to have given up on life, was the reason I had come to this trading house. I intended to change the names of girls with alchemy skills who had been captured by bandits and have them go undercover in other cities.

Her appearance was indeed quite beautiful, as the slave trader praised. Though a different type, she could be called a beauty on par with Arisa or Mia. Flat-chested but about an A cup. Silver hair. Thin lips and unfocused ice-blue eyes accentuated her lifelessness. Her name was Tifaliza. Fifteen years old. Level 5. Her title was “Orieldo’s Slave,” but hidden titles included “unctuous rudeness” and “rude person.”
