This is Satou. There’s a saying, "Agitators never disappear no matter the era," and it seems they don’t vanish even if the world changes.

Well then, let’s begin the conclusion.

Another page in the history of Seryu City...

I stared at the beast girls and found the name of their master.

It was a different name from the fat priest.

So where is their master?

Possible explanations are that the master isn’t here, is in a position where he cannot oppose the fat priest, or... is an accomplice of the fat priest!

Recently, I had only been using AR displays for information, but now I unleashed the full map exploration’s true power.

I searched the master’s name.

Found him — at the edge of the plaza. A small man with fox-like eyes sitting on a wooden crate, grinning as he watched the commotion.

I examined the AR-displayed information.

The little man’s name is Woos. Age 39. Skills: "Fraud," "Persuasion," "Intimidation." Owned slaves: "catperson," "dogperson," "lizardman."

…Hmm? The slaves are only identified by species, no names?

No, that doesn’t matter much.

I need more information.

Still not enough.

Affiliation: "Seryu City, lower-class citizen." Guild: "Sewer Rats."

This is it. Search Guild "Sewer Rats"!

Fifty-two members. Ten of them are in this plaza, including Woos. Excluding Woos and the big man who looks like his bodyguard behind him, eight people are acting as planted supporters here.

I marked all of them, including those not present.

Now, time to act!

] "Obtained deduction skill."

] "Obtained covert operation skill."

...But I must have been shaken by the abuse of the beast girls. I overlooked crucial information. I can’t rewind time, but if I had delayed the first step even a little, the outcome might have been different...

Zena-san seems to have reached the fat priest.

"Stop this cruelty!"

"What’s the matter, little girl! Are you siding with the demon race?"

Suddenly, the fat priest has no followers. And he replies in a way that’s hard to refute, hitting the basics of an agitator’s playbook.

"Those who side with the demon race are demons themselves!!"

"Oooooooooh!"

While Zena-san is buying time, we first have to deal with the planted supporters in the crowd.

"Don’t cover it up! Is the Zaikuon Temple breaking the kingdom’s law?"

"What’s wrong with striking demons with Holy Stones?"

What an uncooperative conversation. Or maybe the priest knows perfectly well and is deliberately diverting the issue.

I activated "Spy" and slipped into the crowd. Using "Evasion" and "Close Combat" skills, I slipped through the masses.

"Oooooooooh!" "Yeah! Throw stones at that little girl too!!!" "Oooooooooh!"

Zena-san uses Wind Protection to shield not only herself but also the beast girls. True to her reputation as a magic soldier in command.

Now, I must clear them out before the crowd becomes a riot. Even Zena-san would be in danger if overwhelmed.

I moved next to the man stirring up the crowd (Sewer Rat), throwing stones while inciting others. Thanks to the skill’s benefit, I know exactly how to attack to neutralize him without raising suspicion.

With a single strike, I incapacitated the man (Sewer Rat) and then dumped him in an alley outside the plaza. Time is precious, so I didn’t restrain him.

] "Obtained abduction skill."

] "Obtained assassination skill."

Abduction skill seems useful, so I maxed it out. Assassination skill? No, I didn’t take it. Not at all.

At the plaza’s center, a different man in priestly robes joined Zena-san to assist. A burly, handsome middle-aged priest.

"You’re just calling demi-humans demons, aren’t you, Zaikuon Temple?"

"Hmph, a philanthropic priest from Galleon Temple. If you like beasts so much, you can use them as you please, front or back, after the beating is done."

Wow, what a despicable pervert. Zena-san’s face is bright red... no, she didn’t understand the meaning. That’s fortunate.

"Kill the demi-humans!!" "Oooooooooh!" "Crush the demons!!!"
