Note From Developer: I’m a big fan of Chinese web novels, but I often came across great stories with poor translations. That’s why I started this website! My goal is to make this the best web novel translation site out there. If you have any suggestions or feedback, feel free to reach out on Discord or Instagram.

Satou here. I had the image that octopuses are called devilfish in Europe and are disliked, but I was surprised to hear that they are commonly eaten in places like Italy and Spain. Akashiyaki is delicious, but I prefer regular takoyaki.

Waving from the ship as it set sail. Not only Princess Menea and the others but also the prefect's young lady, Lirina, came to see us off.
At the harbor, there were unruly noble youths aiming for Liza’s spear and hooligans they hired, but before they could harm us, the prefect’s soldiers promptly captured and escorted them away. Apparently, Miss Karina’s maids had heard unsettling rumors and reported them to the prefect.
After seeing the demon race battle yesterday and witnessing Liza’s Demonic Spear, they must have gotten ideas, but it’s surprising they wanted to confront us after seeing that fight.
I’d have preferred to leave Miss Karina behind, but abandoning the daughter of the main family would look bad, so I gave up.
“Heh heh heh, there’s no way I’m letting any flags be raised on new characters! It’s better if they just disappear like this.”
New characters... treating people like characters, huh? Arisa is a bit dark today. Is she still upset about the pavilion incident from yesterday?
Last night, before sleeping, Arisa and I exchanged information about Japan. About 70% of what we said matched. I thought she liked niche anime, but apparently, the shows she knew well were extremely famous even among non-otaku in Japan.
“Are you still thinking about the eighth person?”
Arisa’s voice brought me back from my thoughts.
I was a bit shaken yesterday, but even if it’s really the eighth person, there’s no particular disadvantage or advantage, so I decided not to worry about it. It seems unlikely that Japanese reincarnators will flood in further due to the death of the summoned reincarnator.
I told the princess that the hero of the Saga Empire has been sent back to their original world. I hope this increases the chances that Yui and Aoi can return to their own world.
Patting Arisa lightly on the head, I headed to the bow to join Pochi and the others who were noisily watching the water.

“I’ve cleared yet another thing left undone from my previous life~”
Supporting Arisa’s waist as she spread her arms wide at the bow. It’s a famous scene from a Western movie. I know the title since it’s a classic, but unfortunately, I’ve never seen it.
“Um, Lord Noble, it’s dangerous, so maybe...”
The bow we were on is a restricted area, but we had been allowed in as a special favor.
The tour attendant in charge of us looked troubled and requested that we leave. Seeing that Arisa was satisfied, I took her back to the main deck.
The ship’s deck is spacious enough to hold four horse carriages. However, due to masts and such, only two carriages can actually be stored. Right now, only our carriage is loaded. The ship has three decks; the top level includes the captain’s cabin and our guest rooms, separate from Miss Karina’s group. The two lower levels house the horses’ stables, cargo, and crew quarters.
I was most worried about seasickness on this voyage, but only one of Miss Karina’s maids fainted; no one else got sick. They said it was much better compared to the carriage’s vibrations. I’ll give the maid some motion sickness medicine later.
It’s about 300 kilometers to the Duke’s Capital, but since we’re using the prefect’s official ship, we should arrive in just two days. A regular ship would take 3–4 days, stopping at the four towns along the way.
“I’m bored.”
“Miss Karina, why don’t you go exploring the ship with Pochi and the others?”
Miss Karina barged into the room where I and Liza were relaxing on the sofa set prepared on the deck.
Only Liza and I were here; the rest had gone exploring. I didn’t expect Lulu to go as well, but since it’s her first time on such a large ship, it’s understandable she was curious. I was the only one sitting on the sofa. Since there were three seats, I invited Liza to sit, but she stubbornly stood like a sentinel, refusing to sit.
