Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody

Chapter 106: The End of the Commotion 🎉

Published: September 4, 2025

This is Satou speaking. There’s a saying that "no younger brother can surpass his older brother," but it seems that "younger sisters can surpass their older sisters."

Well, now that the demon race has been dealt with, it’s time to regroup with Liza and the others.

Lulu and Nana seem to be staying in the village, so it should be fine. Neither of them lost any HP, and Nana’s MP and Lulu’s stamina are at safe levels.

“Alright, Arisa, Pochi, let’s get out of here.”

“Yes, understood.”

“Okay!”

What’s wrong, Arisa? You look unusually tired.

“Tired?”

“Yes, very much so.”

“I’ll give you a piggyback ride~”

It seems the fact that I instantly killed the demons with the Holy Bolt earlier didn’t sit well with her. Perhaps I shouldn’t have stolen her chance to shine.

Since Pochi seems willing to carry Arisa piggyback, I’ll leave it to her. Running down the stairs, Pochi’s back carries Arisa’s shout, “N-No, I’d rather Master carry me~.” Surprisingly spirited.

Somehow, she’s switched back from calling me “you” to “Master.” I don’t mind what she calls me, but Arisa insists on “Master” except when she’s completely relaxed.

I deactivate the hero set mask I had forgotten to remove.

Of course, I make sure to clean up any traces of the Wooden Holy Sword and Holy Bolt I created.

] “Evidence Erasure Skill acquired.”

It sounds like a skill straight out of a crime story, but after activating it, I erase all traces perfectly once more.

At this point, I could probably pull off a perfect crime.

At the front entrance of the quiet mansion, as I reunite with Arisa and Pochi, I notice the baron’s daughter’s younger sister approaching very close.

Even though I spent time erasing evidence, she moved with incredible speed from the outer wall. She must be using magic.

She appears from behind the tall hedge.

Demonic.

“Hey, you there, where is the honorable hero?”

“The honorable hero went to the fortress with the baron.”

“That’s an impostor! The honorable hero carries the Golden Holy Sword!”

Demonic.

“I only know one hero. There shouldn’t be anyone else in the mansion.”

“Karina, this girl seems to be telling the truth. Let’s head upstairs.”

“Where are you speaking from? Grandpa can’t see you.”

“No way, is that an intelligent magical artifact?”

Demonic.

Yes, that only exists in the two-dimensional (fictional) world.

“Understood, ladies, thank you for the information.”

Supported by silver ornaments, boasting a bust that surpasses even busty beauty—a rocket-shaped figure that looks like a joke—she dashes up the stairs.

“What’s wrong? You’ve been frozen like stone for a while.”

Thanks to the poker face skill, it seems my gaze wasn’t noticed.

I was completely dumbfounded by those massive breasts. I never dreamed there was someone who could surpass that baroness elder sister.

If a person like that came at you, resisting would be difficult.

In a way, she’s more dangerous than the demon race.

“Sorry, I was just surprised to see an intelligent magical artifact for the first time.”

“No way. You were just recording those manga-like huge breasts, weren’t you?”

My weak excuse didn’t fool Arisa.

Anyway, more importantly—

“Arisa, can you magically reproduce my cosplay look from earlier?”

“I’ve burned it into my memory, so yes.”

I see, she’s burned it into her mind.

“Then create an illusion at the top floor window of the mansion, and have it jump like a flea several times, passing in front of the fortress and heading into the city.”

“That’s beyond the effective range of magic—do you really need that?”

“You don’t want to be stalked by that busty beauty again, do you?”

Her appearance is very much to my taste, but I feel like I’d have trouble with her personality.

“Okay. I want to avoid her with full power.”

A purple magic circle appears around Arisa. It’s her unique skill: full power unleashed (over boost).

I confirmed with a radar that there’s no one nearby, and even though the nearly two-meter tall hedge blocks views, maybe letting her use it outdoors during the day was a bit careless.
