Zhan Fengling had been going through a tough time lately. She was just a vegetable farmer delivering produce to the palace, and life had been quite good. However, recently, Zhan Yue had hired someone to kill the clan leader. In a fit of anger, she had stopped delivering vegetables to the palace. As she wandered aimlessly, observing the palace's every corner, she reflected on how she had treated Zhan Yue. Regret filled her heart.
At that moment, Zhan Fengling suddenly heard voices coming from the study. She paused for a moment, and a flicker of joy crossed her face as she hurried toward the study.
There were no guards at the study door, so Zhan Fengling approached quietly. Soon, she overheard a conversation inside: “Chairman, is this true? Did Zhan Fenglei really ask the otherworldly divine race for help?”

Zhan Fengling listened quietly, but she was tormented by two conflicting emotions: regret for her previous attitude towards Zhan Yue and hatred towards Zhan Fenglei.
