Bringing the Farm to Live in Another World

Chapter 971: Encounter with a Warrior: Nightmares Awaken 🌙

When Zhao Hai and the others left the mall, they drove away in an RV. Back on Earth, Zhao Hai had driven a car before, and in the Atlantis Continent, driving was even simpler. This was due to the wide roads, the prevalence of automatic cars, and the fact that most vehicles were equipped with an anti-collision automatic magic circle. As long as you activated the magic circle, you wouldn’t have to worry about accidents, although you could choose to turn it off or not use it at all.

Of course, Zhao Hai had installed this magic circle, and he had made some minor modifications to the RV to make it more comfortable. The RV and the eight sports cars cost Zhao Hai over a million gold coins in total.

However, this also made Zhao Hai realize how strong the purchasing power of gold coins was in the Atlantis Continent; they were indeed very powerful.

Zhao Hai drove back to the hotel, checked out of his room, and immediately left the city. He had already bought a car and saved a lot of money in this city, which might attract some attention from others. Zhao Hai didn’t want that to happen, so he decided to go elsewhere.

Once out of the city, Zhao Hai let one of the O'Neill family’s mecha drivers take over driving. Before leaving the city, Zhao Hai had already bought a map, and their next destination was the next city.

After leaving the city, Zhao Hai and the others didn’t immediately enter the space; they wanted to learn more about the Atlantis Continent. The highways here were well-built and very wide. Large RVs like theirs could easily allow four vehicles to travel side by side.

At first, Zhao Hai didn’t understand why the roads were built so wide. After asking the O'Neill family mecha driver, he learned that the roads were made for battle chariots.

Although Zhao Hai's RV was large, it was not as wide as a battle chariot. On such a highway, only two battle chariots could travel side by side; three would not be possible.

As they drove, Zhao Hai admired the scenery along the roadside. The environment in the Atlantis Continent was nice, with protective forests planted along the sides of the road, and he could see plenty of trees and grasslands everywhere. The scenery on this journey was quite pleasant.

Soon, the sky gradually darkened, and Zhao Hai decided to stop the car for the night. They planned to rest in the RV. It wasn’t that Zhao Hai didn’t want to rest in the space; it was Laura and the others who insisted on feeling what it was like to rest in the RV, and Zhao Hai naturally agreed.

Meg prepared dinner in the RV's kitchen. After they finished eating, Zhao Hai and the others spent some time stargazing outside before returning to their rooms to rest.

To be honest, the room in the RV was quite nice and very comfortable. Zhao Hai ended up sleeping with Meg that night, and they simply cuddled together without doing anything else.

In the middle of the night, Zhao Hai suddenly woke up because he sensed that some people were approaching quickly. He was taken aback and immediately woke up fully; with a movement of his hand, he transferred Laura and the others to the space and followed himself, checking the screen.

Zhao Hai noticed that those people were approaching at a very fast speed, and they didn’t seem to be driving cars or operating mechs but were closing in like warriors from the Ark Continent.

Once Zhao Hai realized this, he was startled. He had already learned from the O'Neill family that in the Mecha Continent, warriors and mages were generally not allowed to approach; they were in a hostile relationship, and it was very dangerous for a warrior or mage to enter the Mecha Continent. He had no idea what these people wanted.

Not long after Zhao Hai entered the space, several warriors appeared outside the RV. Upon seeing the RV by the roadside, they were momentarily stunned. A few warriors gathered in front of the RV, examining it closely. One of them exclaimed, “What a beautiful vehicle!”

“What about the people inside?” All these warriors were dressed in black warrior outfits, carrying a dagger on their backs, with black hoods covering their faces, leaving only their eyes exposed.
