Zhao Hai didn't give Xiao Bingya the magic cannon because the crystal used in the cannon was quite special, and he didn't want the divine race to know about it.
A day passed quickly, and the next morning, Fei'er and the others woke up feeling a bit disoriented. It wasn't until they had breakfast that they felt better. They also learned from Zhao Hai that people from the Atlantis Continent might come to attack today, so after breakfast, they immediately returned to their troops.
Zhao Hai knew that today was the day the divine race would enter the otherworldly divine race territory. However, he didn't rush to deal with the divine race; he planned to let them battle the otherworldly divine race for a while before heading to the Divine Race Continent to confront them. For now, he wanted to stay here and deal with the O'Neill family and at least acquire a few mechas.
Although Zhao Hai didn't go to confront the divine race, he was fully preparing to deal with them. The main point was to create more divine-level experts and gather more Scorpion Battle Suits to distribute to the Demon Legion.
In recent days, Zhao Hai had already obtained hundreds of Scorpion Battle Suits and had given them to the Demon Legion. However, because these suits had many uses, the members of the Demon Legion hadn't fully adapted to them yet. They were still in training and would need some time to get used to them. Once they were trained, Zhao Hai could lead them to sweep through the entire God Realm.
In addition to the suits for the demon clan, Zhao Hai had also produced many Divine-Level Potions. Now, the members of the budah family were almost all divine-level experts, including Laura and the others. However, even though their strength reached the divine level, their combat power was still significantly weaker than actual divine-level experts.
The O'Neill family didn't keep Zhao Hai waiting too long. Around nine in the morning, a thirty-member mecha squad from the O'Neill family flew in from a spatial rift.
The reason the O'Neill family didn't notice the defensive line that Zhao Hai had set up at the spatial rift was that the area had been shrouded in thick fog. This fog wasn't black but a normal white mist, which could block divine sense and general detection methods, making it impossible for the O'Neill family to discern the situation within the fog.
Because of Zhao Hai's setup, the O'Neill family members were unaware that a defensive line had already been established here.
The thirty mecha warriors cautiously flew into the thick fog. Their speed wasn't fast, and they maintained their humanoid forms without transforming, ensuring they were always ready for battle.
As they advanced carefully, several blue lights suddenly shot towards them. The O'Neill family's warriors were startled and immediately executed tactical evasion maneuvers.
This tactical evasion was a subject that every mecha pilot had to learn in order to avoid enemy fighting spirit magic or energy beam attacks. These scouts were elite members of the O'Neill family, and their evasive actions were executed smoothly, allowing them to avoid that row of blue lights.
However, another row of blue lights soon followed, this time with greater quantity and intensity. The few O'Neill family mecha warriors finally couldn't evade and quickly raised their shields, firing their own energy beams at the blue lights.
The energy beams in their hands were white and appeared more concentrated. When the white energy beams collided with the blue energy beams, a deafening explosion occurred, scattering the fog.
The two energy beams clashed, resulting in a massive explosion that blew away the mist and revealed the O'Neill family members their enemies. They discovered a defensive line not far ahead, densely populated with figures, indicating a strong military presence.
Seeing this, the O'Neill family soldiers immediately stopped, forming a tactical formation and slowly retreating.
However, it was too late for them to retreat. Blue lights shot in from behind, weaving into a light net that enveloped them, leaving them unable to evade.
