Chapter 884: The Currency Problem in the Demon Realm 💰

On the projection, a small team of mecha warriors appeared. This small team consisted of three vehicles and approximately fifty mechas. Originally, the three vehicles could hold sixty mechas, but they left ten spots empty to carry some living supplies and energy devices, so they only loaded fifty mechas.

These three vehicles entered the Aksu Empire from Lifeline Canyon. They were very fast, comparable to the cars Zhao Hai had seen on Earth, not the large ones, but rather the smaller ones. Zhao Hai calculated that if these war chariots from the Atlantis Continent were to move at full speed, their speed could reach over 200 kilometers per hour.

When Zhao Hai came to this conclusion, he could hardly believe it was true. A speed of 200 kilometers per hour was generally unattainable by regular cars on Earth, and yet these vehicles, which carried twenty mechas and weighed over a hundred tons, could achieve such speeds? It seemed impossible.

However, after multiple calculations in his space, Zhao Hai finally believed that this figure was correct. Those seemingly heavy metal vehicles could indeed reach such speeds.

At first, Zhao Hai couldn’t understand why these heavy war chariots could move so quickly. It was only when he noted those large ships that a possibility came to mind.

The large ships on the Atlantis Continent were not slow. It was quite strange for ships with a displacement of over a million tons to have such speeds. However, since the large ships had always been sailing in the sea without fixed references, Zhao Hai hadn't considered this point.

But one time, when those four large ships encountered some minor winds and waves at sea, it didn't seem significant, yet Zhao Hai noticed that when the waves hit the ship's bow, the spray shot up high. The waves rose dramatically even when the sea wasn't rough; this could only mean one thing — the ships were moving quickly. Zhao Hai measured the speed of those large ships and found that their speed was indeed impressive, comparable to those large vessels around ten thousand tons on Earth, possibly even faster, which left Zhao Hai quite astonished.

Reflecting on those war chariots, Zhao Hai suddenly realized that on the Atlantis Continent, both ships and chariots were inscribed with various magic circles. The full function of these magic circles was still not completely clear to him. This implied that the people of the Atlantis Continent had likely used these magic circles to reduce the weight of the vehicles and ships, allowing them to move so swiftly.

Thinking of this, Zhao Hai felt increasingly excited about the magic circles and mechas from the Atlantis Continent. They had truly developed this magical machine civilization to an advanced degree. Whether it be the Ark Continent, God Realm, or mechas, in terms of the application of magic circles, they would have to look up to the Atlantis Continent.

The three war chariots Zhao Hai saw were clearly the best among the chariots, not only faster but also equipped with more weapons.

Zhao Hai had discovered that the war chariots in the Atlantis Continent were divided into several types. One type had a tortoise-shaped pattern on it, known as tortoise chariots. These chariots had the slowest speed but could carry the most and had the best defenses. Then there were the tiger chariots, which were the most commonly used chariots on the Atlantis Continent. These chariots had powerful engines, significantly faster than tortoise chariots, and boasted formidable firepower.

The third type was the leopard-shaped chariots, which had the fastest speed but average load capacity. Their firepower was also inferior to the tiger chariots and were primarily used for communication, to relay messages.

The war chariots Zhao Hai saw were modified tiger chariots, not only matching the speed of leopard chariots but having even more powerful weaponry than standard tiger chariots. Such chariots were much more complicated to manufacture than tiger chariots, making them much more expensive, and thus they were the least common on the Atlantis Continent.
