After the Great Demon Lord and the Dragon King left, Zhao Hai turned to Xiao Bingya and said, “Mr. Xiao, I’ll also take a rest now. I’ll leave that matter you mentioned to you.”
Xiao Bingya and the others immediately bowed and replied, “Please rest assured, sir. Bingya will definitely handle it well.”
Zhao Hai nodded, then turned and entered the cabin.
After Zhao Hai left, Xiao Bingya and the others also entered the cabin. However, their accommodations were not on the same floor as Zhao Hai's, although their rooms were quite nice and well-decorated.
The three of them entered the room but did not close the door, instead inviting Raedna and Xin Zide in.
The members of the demon clan were very satisfied with their current lives, and the palace of the demon clan was the first building they had completed, identical to how it was in the demon realm. Now, members of the Demon Legion stood outside the palace, while a large crowd of demon clan members surrounded them, watching.
The members of the Demon Legion still stood there with blank expressions, but the aura of death that once surrounded them had disappeared. Although they still gave off a heavy feeling, they no longer instilled fear. This left the demon clan members puzzled; the Demon Legion had previously been the most formidable fighting force of the demon clan, almost an invincible symbol. They were all too familiar with what the Demon Legion represented, so why did their aura seem weaker now? This bewildered them greatly.
The Great Demon Lord and the Dragon King, however, looked on in surprise at the 100,000 members of the Demon Legion. They were not like ordinary demon clan members; they understood the members of the Demon Legion much better. To them, the members of the Demon Legion now appeared much more terrifying than before.
Previously, the Demon Legion was incredibly powerful, like a gleaming sword. Anyone who saw them understood they were extremely dangerous.
Now, although the members of the Demon Legion did not appear as frightening, the Great Demon Lord and the Dragon King knew this was precisely what made the Demon Legion even more fearsome now. A drawn sword is known to be dangerous, but a hidden dagger can sometimes be more threatening because the danger of the sword is visible while the danger of the dagger is concealed.
At that moment, Zhao Hai entered the space, and upon seeing him, the Great Demon Lord and the Dragon King approached him. After the three exchanged pleasantries, Zhao Hai glanced at the 100,000 members of the Demon Legion and nodded, saying, “Not bad, it’s looking better. Hehe, it seems it’s time to equip them with mounts.”
The members of the Demon Legion were still in formation. Previously, due to the need for battle, Zhao Hai had equipped them with mounts, but those mounts did not match these individuals' current strength. Now, however, things were different. Zhao Hai had conquered the Taurus Continent, and the space had undergone another upgrade. It could finally produce divine-level magical beasts, many of which could serve as mounts, and Zhao Hai planned to cultivate mounts specifically for the Demon Legion in the hellish space.
Magical beasts raised in other places might be strong in combat, but they lacked that wildness needed for the Demon Legion to unleash their full battle potential. Therefore, Zhao Hai had cultivated many magical beasts in the hellish space for the Demon Legion.
These magical beasts, raised in the hellish space, would battle against the members of the Demon Legion during their trials. This way, not only did the Demon Legion gain training, but the magical beasts benefited too. After Zhao Hai equipped these magical beasts as mounts for the Demon Legion, it would be a strong alliance, greatly enhancing their combat effectiveness.
As for the past battles they had experienced, Zhao Hai was not worried at all. Those magical beasts were not as intelligent as the members of the Demon Legion; with just one order from Zhao Hai, they would charge into battle without hesitation, let alone be used as mounts.
