Beautiful, so beautiful. Although Zhao Hai knew that this was a deadly weapon, he still couldn't help but like it because it was just too pretty.
Laura and the others were also staring at the darkness king with sparkling eyes. To be honest, they felt that the name didn't quite fit the ship because it looked nothing evil at all, aside from the terrifying carvings on the ship. However, even though the carvings looked quite frightening, it didn’t mean it was evil, as many people would depict some evil things simply to scare their enemies.
Laura suddenly snatched the darkness king from Zhao Hai’s hands and said with shining eyes, “So beautiful! Brother Hai, why don’t we make a few more of these? What do you think?”
Zhao Hai looked at Laura and smiled, “Trust me, if people like it, we can set up various models at home in the future, all with the same functions as the darkness king. But unfortunately, I don’t have that capability yet.”
Laura looked at Zhao Hai and smiled slightly, “I believe in you; you will definitely achieve it. But Brother Hai, can this little thing really expand infinitely?”
Zhao Hai smiled slightly, then the darkness king in Laura's hand suddenly flew up, slowly ascending into the air and growing larger and larger, until the entire ship was nearly as big as a city, a city that could house millions of people. Such a city would be considered large in the Ark Continent.
Laura and the others stared in amazement at the transformation of the darkness king. Zhao Hai also thought it was about time; if it got any bigger, they wouldn’t be able to exit the spatial rift.
Zhao Hai turned to Laura and the others and said, “How is it? Not bad, right? Let’s go aboard. Today, you will command the undead beings in battle from the ship. What do you think?”
Upon hearing Zhao Hai's words, Laura and the others cheered in unison and flew straight onto the ship, with Zhao Hai following closely behind.
The Great Demon Lord and the dragon king were anxiously waiting. With their level of strength, even if they fought for several days in a row, they wouldn't lose too much combat power. Moreover, these past two days couldn’t even be called battles; it was like a warm-up. When Zhao Hai mentioned that they would act after two hours, they knew that the ship had been upgraded, which made them anxious to see what it looked like now.
Fei'er and the others were also waiting but weren’t too anxious. After all, Zhao Hai had said they would be stalling the divine race for a few days, and being anxious wouldn’t help.
At that moment, a gigantic spatial rift suddenly appeared in the sky, catching everyone’s attention, including the divine race members in Holy Light City. As they marveled at the rift, an enormous ship slowly emerged from it.
Everyone's jaws dropped as they stared at the ship. It was incredibly ornate, with a golden-yellow semi-transparent hull, deep blue waves beneath it, sharp and long ram horns, a high ship tower, and a mast that seemed to pierce the sky. The wind chimes at the corners of the ship tower and the stunning yet fierce emblem made the ship look extraordinarily magnificent.
Zhao Hai and Laura stood at the bow of the ship, calmly watching the distant Holy Light City. At this moment, the Great Demon Lord and the dragon king finally reacted, both staring in awe at the ship. Everyone knew what the ship used to look like; they also knew Zhao Hai was upgrading it, but they hadn’t expected it to turn out like this.
The Great Demon Lord and the dragon king glanced at Zhao Hai’s ship and then at their own battle chariots, feeling their own chariots seemed so insignificant in comparison.
Once the darkness king fully stopped, the Great Demon Lord and the others flew onto the ship, and Fei'er and the others followed. Zhao Hai noticed they were on board and immediately asked, “How is everyone prepared? Today, we will capture Holy Light City.”
The Great Demon Lord exclaimed to Zhao Hai, “Sir, is this the ship after your upgrade? It’s so beautiful! I really can’t imagine it looking this stunning.”
