The situation of the goblin clan differs from that of the Ark Continent. The Ark Continent has been completely relocated to the Ark Space, and the civilization here has not suffered any damage, remaining absolutely intact.
In contrast, the goblin clan had a high foundation of magical mechanical civilization in the past, possibly even stronger than that of the Ark Continent, but their civilization was destroyed. Now, there are hardly any goblins who can read or write. In this situation, if Zhao Hai were to ask them to learn too much or help him with complicated tasks, it would be nearly impossible.
The reason Zhao Hai established that church and allowed the goblins to exchange items through a collection method was to make them understand that bringing them into this space does not mean they entered paradise; they still need to work to obtain what they want.
Zhao Hai is not cruel; rather, he does not want to cultivate the goblins' bad habit of being lazy and indulging in pleasure. He wants them to realize that effort directly correlates with reward.
The church was set up by Cai'er, and it operates on a server controlled by a mechanism. As long as the goblins bring items into the church, they can exchange them for what they need. Zhao Hai can provide them with almost anything.
Of course, there is a price for these exchanges. For instance, to exchange for an ordinary iron axe, the goblin clan must provide at least a hundred pounds of breadfruit.
This price was calculated based on the current market prices in the Ark Space, taking into account the prices from the Ark Continent, and it is almost unchangeable. Zhao Hai is not worried about the goblin clan trying to exchange for something extraordinary; given the items available in their current space, even if they wanted to trade for something of higher quality, they wouldn't have anything to exchange.
Currently, the most abundant resource in the goblin clan's space is the breadfruit. Even if they tried to exchange solely using breadfruit, they would likely exhaust the entire supply and still not obtain a single crystal stone, so Zhao Hai is not in a hurry.
After settling the goblin clan, Zhao Hai turned his attention to the Aklaya Mountain Defense Line, where fighting was still ongoing. Yun Tianlei and the others were unaware that Zhao Hai had already looted the Kingdom of Light.
However, it is now impossible for Zhao Hai to raid the Kingdom of Light. The divine race has already sent reinforcements from the God Realm to the Kingdom of Light, so Zhao Hai is preparing to deal with the divine army that is besieging the Aklaya Mountain Defense Line.
But this raises a problem: they do not have enough manpower. Although Zhao Hai has many undead beings at his disposal, he is not currently planning to use the undead beings from the barbarian and winged horse tribes. If he were to deploy the undead beings from these tribes, it might provoke the barbarians and winged horse tribe, potentially pushing these two races completely to the side of the divine race, which would leave Zhao Hai in a desperate situation.
Zhao Hai has enmity with the divine race, but he has no grievances with the barbarian and winged horse tribes. In fact, he feels some sympathy for these two races. Because of this, when Zhao Hai noticed that the barbarian and winged horse tribes were somewhat dismissive of the divine race's orders, he decisively issued orders to avoid large-scale attacks on them. He wanted them to understand that the people of the Ark Continent treated them differently from how they treated the divine race.
One cannot deny that Zhao Hai was very successful in this tactic. The elite forces from the barbarian and winged horse tribes consistently put forth little effort during the battles against the Ark Continent, which significantly relieved the pressure on the Aklaya Mountain Defense Line.
However, this also made Zhao Hai's task of dealing with the divine race more difficult. The people from the Ark Continent had just settled down in the Ark Space. If he were to send them into battle at this time, it would surely provoke resentment among them, which is something Zhao Hai would not do.
