CHAPTER 794: Scraping the Ground Clean
The Demon Dragon King looked at a piece of intelligence on his desk. He had read it five times already, yet he still found it hard to believe what it stated.
This intelligence was nothing other than the report about the various races on the Ark Continent who were migrating in large numbers to the Unknown Bright Space. The report mentioned that the people of the Leon Empire and the Pagoda Empire were nearly finished with their migration, while the Roson Empire and the Aksu Empire had officially started their relocation. The orc tribe was also in the process of moving, but the situation of the Elven Race and the dwarf clan was still unclear.
The report also stated that this migration was an overall movement of the entire Ark Continent. If successful, it would mean that no one would be left on the Ark Continent.
Looking at this intelligence, the Demon Dragon King simply could not believe it to be true. Where could the people from the south of the Ark Continent escape to? The entire Ark Continent was not that big; where could they possibly flee? The Unknown Bright Space—how was that even possible?
The Demon Dragon King was well aware that there were over a billion humans alone on the Ark Continent, and when adding the numbers from various other races, the total would certainly be in the tens of billions. How could so many people just relocate at once? Where would they be arranged? The issues of food and supplies were one thing, but housing was an even bigger problem. Moreover, the Ark Continent had not shown any signs of being unable to resist; why would they suddenly decide to move? It was simply impossible.
However, the Demon Dragon King also knew that those spies he had planted could not possibly be deceiving him. This was precisely what puzzled him.
His spies could not be lying, yet the matter seemed far too incredible, so he found himself unable to make a decision after reading the report.
He wondered if this was Zhao Hai's scheme. To be honest, he had already been somewhat frightened by Zhao Hai twice; he feared falling into Zhao Hai's trap. If he lost those people, he could not bear the responsibility.
The divine race had also received similar intelligence. They had their own spies on the Ark Continent, especially since the church of light had operated there for many years, amassing profound resources and facing too many threats to be vigilant against.
Recently, the Ark Continent had governed these matters very strictly, so those people had stayed subdued and gone into full hiding. However, during this chaotic period of war, it was inevitable that some disturbances would arise, and those individuals had become active again. Therefore, the divine race could now receive some intelligence regarding the Ark Continent.
But when the divine race received this intelligence, they also found it hard to believe. Their thoughts were almost identical to those of the demon clan; they doubted that there was any place capable of accommodating such a large influx of people. This report might merely be a trap.
Another reason that prevented both races from deploying their armies was that they had not yet figured out how to deal with Zhao Hai's harassment tactics. Those tactics were far too terrifying, and until they found a way to counter them, they would take no action.
This was precisely what Zhao Hai desired. Now, the people of the Pagoda Empire and the Leon Empire had moved into the space, while the Roson Empire and the Aksu Empire had also begun their relocation, and the dwarf clan and Elven Race had started moving as well.
If we are to speak of the most challenging living areas to establish in the entire space, they would undoubtedly be those of the dwarf clan and the Elven Race. The dwarf clan's residence required iron mines, and apart from those, Zhao Hai also had coal mines in his space, which was a gift prepared for the dwarf clan.
Since Zhao Hai's space had upgraded, he could freely arrange some mineral deposits within it. Additionally, he previously possessed Pure Iron, which allowed him to convert ordinary stones into iron ore. Zhao Hai had already placed several pieces of Pure Iron beneath the Dwarf Iron Mountain, ensuring that the dwarves would not lack for iron ore.
