Princess Li and Laura were happily chatting in the living room, but Zhao Hai was not there. Over the past few days, he had been dealing with the divine race and the demon clan daily, and he was truly exhausted. On top of that, he felt heartbroken for his wife. After Princess Li and Meigen eliminated the Pegasus Light Cavalry, he immediately sent them to rest while he stayed behind to hold off the demon clan’s advance. Laura huffed and said, “Alright, let’s call those two races over and ask them what races they belong to. Maybe we can learn more about the divine race.”
Since Laura had been with Zhao Hai the longest, even though she did not command battles, she was basically in charge of the budah family's affairs, so it was only natural that her status among the women was the highest. The Heavy Armored Infantry member was quite tall, significantly taller than the average orc, while the Pegasus Light Cavalry members were not particularly tall and appeared quite slender. The Heavy Armored Infantry member bowed to Princess Li and responded, “To answer the lady, my name is Man Ding. We are from the barbarian race, not the divine race. However, our dimension has been conquered by the divine race, and whenever the divine race needs to deal with someone, they always call us to send troops.”
Princess Li nodded, “I see. Are all your people as formidable as you? How many armies do you have in your race?”
Man Ding shook his head and replied, “To answer the lady, we can only be considered a second-line army within our tribe. The true elite has not been deployed. The elite infantry in our tribe consists mostly of ninth-level experts, and the most elite Golden Horn Cavalry are divine-level experts, but their numbers are limited—there are only about fifty thousand of them. However, the elite forces exceed ten million, and as for the numbers in our second-line forces, I do not know.”
Princess Li and Laura both gasped in surprise. They had not anticipated that the barbarian race was so strong. It seemed that if it weren’t for their limited number of divine-level experts, they likely wouldn’t have been conquered by the divine race.
