However, this method of directly summoning undead beings from another dimension has a very fatal flaw: time.
The undead beings summoned from other dimensions have a time limit for their existence in the Ark Continent, and this time limit is related to the summoner's own abilities and the level of the summoned dark beings.
Theoretically, the higher the level of a summoner, the stronger their magical power, the longer the summoned beings can exist in the Ark Continent. Conversely, if the level of a dark being is extremely high, its time of existence in the Ark Continent becomes shorter.
Of course, there are exceptions. If a powerful dark being is summoned and the summoner is willing to pay some life force, that dark being can live for a long time in the Ark Continent. However, generally, no summoner would resort to such a method because the higher the level of the dark being, the more life force is required. If you want to keep a demon in the Ark Continent for an extended period, you might end up losing your own life. Moreover, mages often have long lives; the more such individuals there are, the more they value their time, so they usually would not use this method to make undead beings from another dimension stay in the Ark Continent.
Another method used by dark summoners is to create undead beings themselves, like those used by the undead mercenary group.
Every summoning mage can create a summoning space. In this space, nothing can be placed except for summoned beasts. As long as the summoner has killed individuals or magical beasts, they can turn them into undead beings and place them in the summoning space. However, the undead beings created in this way will have significantly lower levels and will never be able to upgrade.
Because of this, those who were monitoring Zhao Hai and the others were very surprised. The aberration was clearly not summoned from another dimension. If it had been, it should have disappeared by now, instead of continuing to exist.
However, judging by the aberration's combat power, they could determine that it possessed at least the strength of a level five warrior. If such a magical beast was artificially created, what level had it been before it was not killed? Everyone felt a bit confused.
In general, a mage can only create low-level undead beings. If they want to create high-level undead beings, they must pay with their own life force. For this reason, the Corpse Swamp and the Demon Abyss have become genuine forbidden areas. No adventurers dare to go there because no one wants to die.
Furthermore, because of this, no dark summoner who uses locally produced undead beings from the Ark Continent has emerged, and people have forgotten that such summoned beings even exist.
Zhao Hai dared to release the aberration so openly for a reason. The place where he initially appeared was the Black Mountain Pass. If someone linked the aberration to the Corpse Swamp, it would explain why he appeared in the Black Mountain Pass. The people on the continent would only regard Zhao Hai as a mad dark mage and would not associate him with Adam, thus securing Adam's identity even more.
