Chapter 692: Dragon King

Zhao Hai stood quietly outside Demon City, with the city wall behind him. In front of him was a large formation, filled with numerous undead beings that stood there like statues.

Zhao Hai was on the back of a bone dragon, while Tei and the others stood beside him. Most of the undead beings in the formation belonged to Tei and his group; Zhao Hai had not yet released his undead beings.

It had been a day since Zhao Hai communicated with the kings of various countries and clan leaders. During this time, Zhao Hai had been busy in his space, communicating with the kings and coordinating various resources, which was no easy task.

Fortunately, he had already established communication with the kings beforehand. They understood that if they did not unite this time, they would eventually be destroyed by the demon clan, so they genuinely came together.

However, such unity required a leader, and due to Zhao Hai's position among the clans, he had inadvertently become that leader. Additionally, his ability to transport resources in his space made it convenient for the kings to consult him first whenever there was an issue. This situation echoed the dwarf clan's prophecy of a "non-king of kings."

Zhao Hai did not mind this at all. To be honest, he did not have to worry much about resource allocation; he was not entirely sure how much resources he had at hand or how much the other countries possessed. In contrast, Laura and Cai'er were very clear about it. Together, they were more than capable of allocating various resources, while Lily and Meigen were currently resting, preparing to deal with the demon clan members.

On the other hand, Berry was not busy at all. She was learning how to fight with Lily and the others, while also familiarizing herself with the space.

The more Berry learned, the more she felt the wonders of Zhao Hai's space. A bold idea emerged in her mind, but she did not share it with Zhao Hai, keeping it buried within her.

Zhao Hai was now waiting for the blood void formation to unleash its power. According to the information he received from Berry, it was not long until the blood void formation would truly activate, and he wanted to see what it would look like when it did.

Tei and the others stood beside Zhao Hai, looking nervously toward the direction of the Demon Abyss. They knew what was about to happen, and it was precisely because of this knowledge that they felt even more anxious.

Zhao Hai turned to look at the soldiers on the city wall and noticed they were quite tense as well. He could not help but sigh. Although the great battle with the demon clan had passed for thousands of years, the human race had always circulated tales of the demon clan, describing how tyrannical, bloodthirsty, and formidable they were. All of this had slowly morphed into a psychological suggestion, which is why the soldiers were so tense.

However, Zhao Hai had no way to change this. All he could do was wait. After a sigh, he slowly sat atop the head of the bone dragon and took out a small table, a wine jug, and a wine cup from his space, drinking by himself.

Upon seeing Zhao Hai's demeanor, Tei and the soldiers on the city wall were momentarily taken aback, then relaxed. In their hearts, Zhao Hai was their pillar of support. His calmness affected them, and the tense atmosphere in their hearts slowly disappeared.

At that moment, a sudden and intense vibration came from the Demon Abyss, shaking the ground. Even Demon City Castle was gently swaying.

Zhao Hai, however, seemed unaffected as he downed the wine in his cup and murmured, "Finally here; I've been waiting for you for quite a while."

Once Zhao Hai finished speaking, another violent tremor occurred, akin to an earthquake. Then, the thick black fog that had lingered in the Demon Abyss for years began to intensify before rising and transforming into a mass of black clouds.

Zhao Hai looked at the black cloud and smiled slightly, saying, "Quite spectacular, indeed."

Just as he spoke, a powerful shockwave surged from the very center of the Demon Abyss, spreading outward. Everything in its path, be it stones or plants, was obliterated into powder.
