Chapter 612: Lord
The whale tribe led Zhao Hai to the stone pillar. Although the holes on the stone pillar were not small, the whale tribe members could not climb up.
The whale tribe member said to the stone pillar, "Please let the turtle guardian come out to meet us." As soon as he finished speaking, a person appeared in the lowest hole of the stone pillar. When he walked out, Zhao Hai realized that this person was actually from the turtle clan. He wore pants made of seaweed, while his upper body resembled a sea turtle, complete with front and back shells.
The turtle clan member looked at the whale tribe member and asked, "What do you want from me?"
The whale tribe member replied, "This is Mr. Zhao Hai, someone His Majesty wishes to meet. Please take him up."
The turtle clan member glanced at Zhao Hai, nodded, and turned to him, asking, "Are you Zhao Hai?"
Zhao Hai nodded and said, "Indeed, I am Zhao Hai." The turtle clan member nodded, waved his hand, and several turtle clan members emerged from the hole behind him. Each of these turtle clan members was on the back of a sea turtle, which was not particularly large, with a shell diameter of less than two meters.
The turtle clan member turned to Zhao Hai and said, "Stand up here; I will take you to meet His Majesty." Zhao Hai agreed and climbed onto one of the sea turtles' backs, following the turtle clan member into the hole.
Upon entering the hole, Zhao Hai discovered that it looked like a vast palace, filled with many holes, each with water flowing out of them. The turtle clan member led Zhao Hai into one of the mountain caves.
As soon as they entered the mountain cave, Zhao Hai realized that the cave resembled a water slide, with each tunnel twisting and turning, and the water flow was quite rapid. However, it was clear that the water was very deep.
Zhao Hai was quite curious about how the sea tribe managed to create such a situation. How did they manage to push water up to such a high place? It was truly impressive.
However, the sea turtles beneath them seemed completely unaware that they were swimming upstream, moving steadily and at a good speed.
After about half an hour, they emerged from an opening, and their current location was a large water pool, situated within a palace.
The palace was beautifully constructed, made entirely of white stone, with blue shell carpets on the floor. The walls were embedded with crystals and pearls, creating lovely patterns that sparkled in the sunlight, reflecting light that seemed to have been specially calculated to form images of various sea tribes in the water pool, which was quite beautiful.
Zhao Hai and the others were captivated by the scenery before them. They had not expected the palace to be so stunning. At this point, the sea turtles stopped at the edge of the water pool. The turtle guardian turned to Zhao Hai and said, "Sir, please come ashore. Once you are on land, there will naturally be someone to receive you."
Zhao Hai nodded and bowed slightly to the turtle guardian, saying, "Thank you to the turtle clan brothers for escorting us." After saying this, he stepped onto the shore, and Laura and the others followed suit.
After a few people got ashore, the turtle guardian turned and walked back into the mountain cave. At that moment, a person walked out from the palace—a woman with golden hair and blue eyes. She held a crystal staff and wore a green magic robe, which appeared to be made of water plants from the sea.
The woman approached Zhao Hai and the others, slightly bowing to Zhao Hai with a smile, "Are you the family head of the budah family, the foreign prince consort of the orc tribe, and the foreign elder of the dwarf clan, Mr. Zhao Hai?"
Zhao Hai was taken aback, quickly bowing and saying, "That is indeed me. May I ask your name, Miss?"
The woman smiled at Zhao Hai, "I am Lola, a lady officer in the palace of the Sea King. Please follow me."
Zhao Hai hastily replied, "I have met the lady officer. If I may boldly ask, what race do you belong to? Are you of the human race?"
