Chapter 583: Leveling Up Again
This was the first time in a while that Zhao Hai had cursed again. He was truly furious. In the stories he had read, gods and demons were always in opposition, but here in the Ark Continent, it was as if no one cared to say anything; they had actually joined forces to deal with the human race. And this unfortunate guy—he might end up being the protagonist of this story! Damn it!
When Juno heard Zhao Hai say this, she couldn't help but snort coldly and said, “Enough, Xiao Hai. Don’t think too highly of those divine families. Although many of them came from our Ark Continent, as the hammer said, most of those guys have mixed with the natives of the God Realm and can no longer be considered people from Ark Continent.”
Billy snorted as well and said, “Even those who came from Ark Continent aren’t necessarily good people. Xiao Hai, I actually hope you can become a divine-level expert soon. Maybe then our lives as outsiders will be a bit easier.”
Zhao Hai forced a smile. He knew what Billy and Juno were saying was true. Those divine-level experts didn’t see the people of Ark Continent as human beings anyway, so it was best not to have any expectations of them.
Seeing Zhao Hai’s expression, Juno sighed and said, “Forget it. Let’s not talk about these things. Let’s eat. After eating, Xiao Hai can collect his things, and then we’ll leave.”
Billy turned to Juno and said, “What? Are you also in such a hurry to leave? Can’t you stay a few more days?”
Juno smiled bitterly and said, “There have been too many things happening lately. I need to go back and deal with them properly, so I won’t stay longer.”
Billy nodded and said, “That’s fine. The most important thing now is about the divine race. I won’t keep you any longer. Let’s eat. After we finish, I’ll give Xiao Hai a letter. He can take it to see the Beast King. I think the Beast King will let Xiao Hai meet the spirit of the artifact.”
Zhao Hai understood Billy’s intention. Although his status among the orc tribe was not low, because he was from the human race, the orc tribe might not fully trust him enough to let him meet the spirit of the artifact. However, with the dwarf clan leader's letter plus the Elder's Order, perhaps he could succeed.
The three of them stopped talking and after eating, they went outside. Once outside, Zhao Hai was stunned. There were more than a hundred items laid out on the ground, including over thirty magical beasts, more than fifty different plants, and dozens of various kinds of ores. These ores were clearly not the common ones found on the continent.
All those animals were alive, and so were the plants. Among them was the Ironclad Beast and the Iron Spear Tree, but the Ironclad Beast was just a small one, and the Iron Spear Tree was only a seedling.
However, this was not important. What mattered was that both the plants and animals were alive, which was incredibly important for Zhao Hai.
Without any hesitation, Zhao Hai began to collect the items on the ground into his space. A series of prompt sounds came from the space, mostly concerning those animals and plants, and finally, there were prompts about the ores. The space discovered the potential of these ores. These ores were quite special and rare, but due to their small quantity, they could not immediately form a vein in the space like Pure Iron. The space indicated that it would take several years for those ores to slowly grow and eventually form veins in the space.
This was a new capability of the space. Previously, if the quantity of ores collected was too small, the space could not form veins at all. Now, however, it could gradually form veins through growth, which was great news for Zhao Hai.
What surprised Zhao Hai even more was that after collecting these items into the space, it actually leveled up again. This was beyond Zhao Hai's expectations.
Based on his estimation, the requirements for leveling up the space should be quite high, and it was unlikely that such a small collection could trigger an upgrade. This was quite unexpected.
