Chapter Five Hundred and Seventy-Nine: The Elder
Although Zhao Hai was currently wearing a special type of metal clothing, it did not have the cold feeling typically associated with metal. On the contrary, this outfit was quite comfortable and had a warm sensation, which was really nice.
Zhao Hai stood up and took a couple of steps while changing the styles of the clothing a few times before finally stopping and reverting it back to its original form. He turned to Laura and the others and asked, “What do you think of this outfit?”
Laura and the others looked at him with shining eyes and nodded. They all wanted such a piece of clothing so that they could wear whatever style they desired; it was incredibly convenient.
Zhao Hai smiled slightly and then turned to Cai'er, saying, “Alright, now that the space has been upgraded, can we plant some special spiritual herbs?”
Cai'er nodded and replied, “Yes, young master, we can now plant some herbs that can enhance physical quality and help with cultivation.”
Zhao Hai nodded and said, “Good, then look for a way to go to the universal machine and see what kinds of spiritual herbs are available for planting. But make sure to only plant them here in the red soil. By the way, let’s plant more of those special fruits like the Vajra Fruit that can grant otherworldly techniques; we need to keep some of those.”
Cai'er answered, “Understood, young master. You can leave it to me.”
Zhao Hai then said, “By the way, can you bring up the ten backgrounds that I can currently use? I want to see what options I have.”
Cai'er acknowledged and quickly presented some very ordinary backgrounds that Zhao Hai could use. Although these backgrounds were quite normal, they still had their benefits. For example, while a desert background was beautiful, Zhao Hai wouldn’t purchase it because it would serve no purpose.

After selecting the ten backgrounds, Zhao Hai turned to Cai'er and asked, “How do we use these backgrounds?”
Cai'er replied, “Young master, you can let me manage them normally. Whenever you feel like going somewhere, just say where you want to go, and you can go directly. I will raise suitable magical beasts and plant the appropriate herbs according to the terrain of those backgrounds. You don’t need to worry; these backgrounds all come with houses. In total, you now have ten more houses. However, no matter how the backgrounds change, the red soil remains constant, and the land you purchased in those backgrounds is different. The land in those backgrounds is just ordinary land and cannot accelerate the growth of crops.”
Zhao Hai smiled slightly and said, “Without management, is it the same as before the backgrounds were upgraded? If so, then you can just manage it; I trust you.”
Cai'er agreed, and Zhao Hai then led Laura and the others to check out those backgrounds. The scenery was quite nice, and at that moment, Cai'er suddenly said, “Young master, the dwarf clan leader has sent someone to find you.”
Zhao Hai nodded and immediately took Laura and the others back to the dwarf clan's room. It was strange; even though Zhao Hai was already a super ninth-level expert, his aura did not show at all; he still appeared calm and indifferent.
