Chapter 538: The Shock of the Sword Saint (Seeking Subscription)

The people looked around in a daze; they never expected to suddenly find themselves on a ship. They had thought that once they came out, they would definitely be on Golden Island.

The Primordial Sword Saint glanced around, then turned to Zhao Hai with a smile and said, "Zhao Hai, the family head, really takes great care in his work. I admire you, old man."

Zhao Hai quickly smiled and replied, "Sword Saint, you flatter me. Please, come rest inside the cabin. We will reach Golden Island in just one day."

The Primordial Sword Saint did not decline. He nodded at Zhao Hai and turned to enter the cabin, where an undead being promptly led him to one of the rooms.

Once the Sword Saint went in, the members of the Versailles Family quieted down. Zhao Hai glanced at them and turned to Ryan, saying, "Ryan, soon an undead being will come to arrange rooms for you. You all should rest here on the ship for now; we'll arrive at Golden Island tomorrow. This is done to avoid raising suspicion. But rest assured, this sea area is already under the control of our Budah Family, and it is absolutely safe here."

Ryan gave Zhao Hai a complex gaze and said, "I will follow the arrangements of Marquess Lord."

Zhao Hai chuckled, "Ryan, you are too polite. After all, our two families have been friends for generations. I'm a bit older than you, so just call me Brother Hai. No need for titles like Marquess Lord; it feels too distant."

Upon hearing Zhao Hai's words, Ryan was momentarily taken aback. After looking at Zhao Hai for a while, she softly said, "Thank you, Brother Hai."

Zhao Hai smiled slightly and replied, "No need for thanks." He waved his hand, and soon some undead beings came over. Zhao Hai turned to the Versailles Family members and said, "Please follow these undead beings. They will arrange your rooms. Remember, there should be four people per room."

The young members of the Versailles Family were very obedient. They knew Zhao Hai's identity. Although Zhao Hai was young and seemed very respectful towards Ivan, they were very clear that when it came to status on the continent, Zhao Hai was undoubtedly at a higher level.

Though they were elites within the Versailles Family and often proud, compared to Zhao Hai's accomplishments, they could only be considered as insignificant. Thus, they behaved very humbly in front of Zhao Hai, like children standing before a giant.

The five-masted ship was spacious, and given that most of the crew were undead beings who didn't need rest, there were plenty of empty rooms. Arranging for a hundred people or even more wouldn't be a problem.

Zhao Hai then arranged a room for Ryan, which of course was for her alone. After ensuring Ryan was settled, Zhao Hai did not rush into the spatial realm but went to the door of the Primordial Sword Saint's room. Just as he was about to knock, he heard the Sword Saint's voice coming from inside, "Zhao Hai, come in."

Zhao Hai quickly pushed the door open and walked in. This room was specially prepared by Zhao Hai; it had minimal furnishings—just a table and a bed. There wasn't much else. The other rooms were not large either; the four-person rooms for the Versailles Family members only contained two bunk beds and nothing more.

Zhao Hai bowed to the Sword Saint and said, "Sword Saint, is everything to your liking? If you need anything, just let me know, and an undead being will bring it to you. I hope you won't find it unsuitable."

There were some people on the continent who were quite averse to undead beings, which was why Zhao Hai said this. The Sword Saint smiled slightly and replied, "No need for pleasantries. At my age, I have learned to take things lightly; I wouldn’t mind such things. You came today to discuss the matter of spatial magic, right?"

Zhao Hai was taken aback. He finally realized that these ninth-level experts he had fought hard to become were indeed not ordinary; each one was exceptionally astute. He quickly replied, "You are correct, Sword Saint."
