CHAPTER 445: It's Up to You
Zhao Hai was unaware of all these happenings. He wasn’t monitoring Lando and the others; there was no need for that anymore. After Meigen returned to her room, Zhao Hai brought her into the space.
Meigen enjoyed staying in the space very much because the air was fresh and she had many animals to keep her company. She was truly happy.

As soon as Meigen entered the space, she shared what had happened that day. Seeing that she looked a bit frightened, Zhao Hai smiled and said, “It’s okay. I’m just glad you could tell me this much. After all, they are the people closest to you. Are you really going with me to Jadewater City tomorrow?”
Meigen nodded and said, “Of course I want to go with you! I can’t even sleep when I’m not in the space. It's all your fault!”
Zhao Hai and Laura couldn't help but laugh. The environment in the space was indeed too good; those who rested there often felt uncomfortable outside.
After laughing, Laura looked at Zhao Hai and said, “Brother Hai, I don’t think anything will happen in Jadewater City. After that, we’ll go to Karsen City. Once we arrive there, when do you plan to meet Prince Charlie?”
Zhao Hai thought for a moment and replied, “After we reach Karsen City, I’ll go see Prince Charlie right away. Then I’ll return to the Karlqi Family. The family is our own, so we don’t need to be overly polite. However, we need to be cautious with Prince Charlie. If I visit him first and then go home, others won’t assume the Karlqi Family is involved in his matters.”
Meigen listened quietly, realizing her experience in handling such matters was still too limited, so she could only listen.
Zhao Hai turned to Cai'er and said, “Cai'er, can we gather some more items from the sea? Divine Grace Day is approaching, and if we take these items to Karsen City, they will be in high demand. We should keep a little for ourselves and gather the rest to sell to Charlie.”
Cai'er nodded and replied, “Yes, we can gather from the sea, rivers, and hot springs this time. We can bring everything to Karsen City.”
Zhao Hai nodded and then turned to Laura, saying, “Laura, let’s leave some good things for Mu En and the others. They are unfamiliar with Jadewater City, and it's already impressive that they’ve managed this much.”
Laura smiled and said, “It's okay. Haven’t you seen? They’ve been doing well recently. Although Jadewater City can’t compare to Tianshui City, it is still an important port city in the Roson Empire. You’ve left them enough money, and plus their business is doing well, so they won’t suffer any losses.”
Zhao Hai nodded, “That’s good. Mu En and the others have worked hard; they have become our only contact outside. However, I think we can open another store in Tianshui City. What do you think?”
Laura nodded and glanced at Meigen, saying, “I think Meigen would have the most say in this matter. Meigen, you’ve been quiet these days; you can’t do that. Come on, share your thoughts.”
Meigen was startled when called out but quickly said, “No, I don’t understand these matters. How can I speak out? I’d better stay silent.”
Seeing her like this, Zhao Hai smiled slightly and said, “It’s okay. Just tell me, would it work to open a store in Tianshui City?”
Upon hearing Zhao Hai’s question, Meigen lowered her head and thought for a moment before saying, “Yes, now that you’re engaged to me and my dad likes you, plus I’ve mentioned this to my grandfather. I think the Karlqi Family won’t make things difficult for you anymore. However, if we want to control our own information, just relying on the Karlqi Family won't suffice, so we should build a store.”
