Smith looked at Meigen in shock. He never expected her to express such sentiments. As the only girl in the family and having been treated like a princess, she had not faced any hardships. All dark things were kept far from her, thanks to him and others. Therefore, her world was filled with sunlight, with no shadows.
It was precisely because of this that when Meigen faced an attack last time, the Karlqi family was so furious, and she was so helpless.
