A cheerful voice outside responded, “Jili seeks an audience with Mr. Wells.”

Jili bowed to Zhao Hai, “No, Jili thanks you, sir. The princess is young and reckless, and she offended you previously. Please forgive her.”
Zhao Hai shook his head, “Forget it. I’m overlooking this incident for the sake of Duke Ivan, but I hope this doesn’t happen again in the future. To be honest, after that incident, I already wrote to the duke. His advice was to ignore Ryan, but no matter what, she is the duke’s daughter, and I can’t go too far. However, I hope Princess Ryan doesn’t challenge my bottom line; otherwise, I won’t hold back. Zhao Hai understood that Jili was sent by Ryan to gauge their sentiments, so he laid everything out clearly. If Ryan overstepped again, he wouldn’t be polite.
