CHAPTER 271: Not Giving a Single Opportunity

Gasol was now a madman, a completely calm, desperate madman. Such people are the most terrifying because they are directly linked to another word: pervert!

Gasol was a bit of a pervert now; he occasionally needed to kill to vent his anger. Therefore, he attacked the Giant Horn Tribe and along the way, killed whenever someone displeased him.

His attack on the Giant Horn Tribe had another purpose: to prepare a gift for King Xiqi. He had nothing left now, and if he met King Xiqi empty-handed, he felt it would be beneath his dignity. So, he needed to prepare a gift for King Xiqi, and the people from the Giant Horn Tribe were to be his gift.

Of course, the Giant Horn Tribe was not the only gift. Gasol wanted to turn every tribe they encountered along the way into slaves and present those people as gifts to King Xiqi. Unfortunately, the Giant Horn Tribe became the first sacrifice.

Even Gasol's guards were starting to fear him because he appeared too gloomy, completely devoid of the spirited demeanor he once had.

Although it was dark and the members of the Giant Horn Tribe were exhausted, they did not dare to stop or even slow down. They knew that any slowing down would lead to the guards' whips coming down on them. If they passed out, the only thing waiting for them would be the axes of the Herculean Bull Tribe.

Previously, the Mighty Bull Tribe was quite respected by the Herculean Bull Tribe. The Herculean Bull Tribe did not oppress these small tauren tribes and would even lend a hand when they encountered difficulties.

But now, they felt that the Herculean Bull Tribe was not part of the orc tribe, but rather like demons. They were terrifying, yet powerless to resist, they could only accept such a fate.

At that moment, a rhythmic sound of hooves approached, very orderly. Upon hearing this sound, Gasol was taken aback, then his expression changed as he shouted, “Prepare for battle.” He knew very well that a troop capable of making such a sound was certainly a well-trained elite army. At this time, an elite army suddenly appearing around them could only mean trouble.

Those guards were seasoned veterans and immediately understood the situation. They quickly gathered around Gasol, looking in the direction of the hoofbeats.

Strangely, they did not see any signs of fire. Didn't the other side have torches? While thinking this, the hoofbeats grew closer and closer.

Though the darkness affected their vision, Gasol and the others could still tell from the hoofbeats that there were quite a few cavalry coming, at least over a thousand. This made their expressions very grim.

They understood that by the time they heard the other side's hoofbeats, it would be too late to run. Now, they just wanted to know who was coming.

Slowly, a massive shadow loomed in the distance, pressing towards them. Soon, a cavalry unit appeared before Gasol and the others.

Upon seeing this cavalry, Gasol's eyes turned red because it was a troop from the Bullfighting Tribe, a regiment of neatly arranged Bullfighting Tribe cavalry.

At that moment, one of the guards beside Gasol suddenly screamed. Gasol was taken aback and turned to glare fiercely at the guard, thinking he couldn’t tolerate that guard’s fear.

However, what caught his eye was the guard's pale face; his eyes were fixed on a direction as if he had seen a ghost.

Gasol glanced in that direction and noticed a member of the Bullfighting Tribe standing there, his armor tattered and nothing else on him.

Gasol snorted coldly, “What are you screaming for? Don’t embarrass me.”

Yet the guard’s face remained grim. He turned to Gasol and said, “Clan leader, I recognize that person. He was with us the last time we pursued the Seventh Young Master. He has already been killed by those undead beings. How could he still be here?”

Upon hearing what the guard said, Gasol's expression changed as he immediately thought of a possibility. The last time they battled Wells, they were defeated by a necromancer. Now, those Bullfighting Tribe members who should have been dead were appearing here again. What did this mean? It indicated that the necromancer had chased after them.
