Chapter 101: Battle!

“Not good!”

Galen and Merlin exclaimed in unison. Zhao Hai reacted quickly; looking at the screen felt like watching television, somehow not entirely real. However, this allowed him to observe the situation with the calm detachment of a spectator.

Because of this, he responded immediately. With a thought, Zhao Zui and the others appeared at their designated location, and Galen and the others were also released.

Now, without others saying anything, Zhao Hai understood that Jialan had set up a light magic early warning spell in his tent, and they hadn’t even noticed when he cast it.

With that sound, the entire camp erupted into chaos. First, the mage's tent lit up as a beam of white light shot up into the sky, illuminating the whole camp. At the same time, a yellow light encircled their tents.

The three high-ranking warriors rushed out of their tents, but when they saw the situation outside, even their faces, which resembled the Ten Thousand Year Cold Ice, changed color.

Their entire camp had transformed; massive undead beings stood everywhere. There were over a thousand of them, and they charged around the camp like frenzied wild bulls, attacking any living person they saw.

Many ordinary mercenaries hadn’t even left their tents before being trampled to death by the undead. Even those who managed to come out were clearly no match for these creatures. Out of their three hundred-strong team, less than a hundred remained in an instant.

What surprised the three high-ranking warriors even more was that these undead beings were poisonous. As soon as the ordinary warriors came into contact with them, they would be poisoned and had to use fighting spirit to suppress the spread of the toxin. If they didn’t, they would turn green and fall dead in an instant.

Just as they were dazed, over twenty warriors lost their lives, all due to poison. The destructive power of these undead beings was truly immense.

What shocked the three high-ranking warriors even more was that the death warriors they had deployed outside hadn’t detected any signs of these undead beings, and so far, they had been unable to come to their aid. It seemed their situation was dire.

While they were stunned, two blue water dragons charged towards them. The three warriors snapped back to attention and simultaneously yelled as they drew their weapons.

Their weapons were not the large swords commonly found in the continent, but rather a type of slender stabbing sword. These stabbing swords were generally not used as weapons; they were usually worn by nobles as decorative items on their waists.

However, the stabbing swords of these three were clearly different. They were entirely black, with a hint of red glow. The entire sword wasn’t edged like a traditional sword but resembled a large cone, with only the first ten centimeters at the tip sharpened, while the rest was rounded, clearly a unique killing tool.

Two of the three leapt towards the two water dragons, while the other charged straight toward Merlin, clearly aiming to capture the leader before the others.

At the same time, Meg and the others engaged with the ordinary mercenaries. The duel between the skilled fighters was naturally beyond their capability, and they didn’t dare to participate; if they did, they would probably not even know how they died.

Although the three didn’t have much battle experience, their strength was evident. The ordinary mercenaries were already terrified, having lost seven or eight tiers of strength, making them no match for the trio.

Just then, with a loud bang, the tent where Jialan and the others were located split open, and two massive stone giants stood up from within.

These stone giants were enormous, each standing seven to eight meters tall, seemingly made of round stones. With vague human features on their round heads, their giant hands also resembled human hands but were constructed from stones of various sizes, standing firm like mountains.

Clearly, these two stone giants were summoned by the Stone Spirit Duo. True to their name, these two giants looked extremely formidable just from their appearance.
