Since we are leaving in the middle of the night again, I was planning to take a nap from the evening onward as well. To do that, I had to work hard and get everything ready now. I decided to call Hartmut and the others, look into the most efficient way to search for the detached palace hidden by Fairburken, and prepare the necessary magic circles.
"It seems they have engraved the mark of the god of concealment, Fairburken, to make the doors and the detached palace itself harder to see. I think we should be able to find where it is hidden by using the mark of the goddess of advice, Warning."
After I explained the contents of my communication with Aub Dunkelfelger, Hartmut folded his arms and looked down, as if searching through his memories.
"There were not many magic circles related to finding things in the noble academy lectures. I believe this may be a rather specialized magic circle, but do you know of it, Lady Rosemine?"
"Lady Rosemine, exposing it with Warning is necessary, but if we can use Fairburken's mark ourselves to carry out covert operations without being noticed by the enemy, wouldn't that be a very effective method?"
As Hartmut and Leonore offered their opinions, I took out The Book of Mestionora and searched for the entries on Fairburken and Warning. Everyone in this office already knew that I had The Book of Mestionora, so there was no need to hide it anymore.
"Hartmut, this magic circle looks like it could be used to find things."
After selecting a magic circle that I could fill in with my own knowledge, I drew it on paper and handed it to Hartmut.
"So magic circles are not a problem?"
"Yes. Drawing magic circles is nothing special."
"...Then perhaps, if we slightly modify the magic circle for Ordoshnell used in Ordnance, we may be able to exchange voices. It seems necessary if we are to go into battle."
Hartmut said he wanted me to look into magic circles related to Ordoshnell other than those taught in lectures. Indeed, having a way to communicate and not having one would make a huge difference. Admiring Hartmut's insight, I searched The Book of Mestionora.
...Lord Ferdinand has far more old magic circles than I do, though.
As I searched, wondering if there was something suitable, I looked up at Hartmut and tilted my head.
"Hartmut, don't you look sleep-deprived too? You haven't rested, even if it's not as much as Lord Ferdinand, have you?"
"Oh? Are you going to bestow the blessing of schlaraum upon me too, Lady Rosemine?"
Hartmut raised an eyebrow slightly in an exaggerated manner, and I looked back and forth between him and Clarissa. Clarissa had a look on her face that seemed to say "please," and I saw her clasping her fingers together in front of her chest.
"I know very well how hard you're working, Hartmut. I won't hesitate to give you a blessing."
"Then let us take turns receiving blessings once Lord Ferdinand wakes up."
Hartmut shook his head and said that he couldn't afford to reduce the number of attendants around me any further. I looked around me. Indeed, the guard knights were taking turns resting for tonight's battle, and Justox and Eckhardt Brother were also resting so they could support Ferdinand once he woke and began moving at full speed.
"Please rest assured. I will rest together with Lady Rosemine."
"Say that you will rest in accordance with Lady Rosemine's nap time, Hartmut."
Leonore gave Hartmut a thin smile and glared at him.
While watching that exchange, I spent my time diligently drawing magic circles onto the magic paper Hartmut and Clarissa had made, and asking Leticia to confirm the number of nobles who seemed to have moved from the lanzenave mansion.
"You're up quite early, Lord Ferdinand."
I had thought he would be sleeping soundly, but Ferdinand woke up before the fifth bell rang. He was up earlier than I expected, but his complexion was much better.
"Rosemine, when you bestow blessings that will disrupt the other party's schedule, make sure to obtain their permission first."
"Then Lord Ferdinand, please make sure to get my permission from now on too."
