...Where is this?
It was dark. Or rather, there was no light at all. When I slowly sat up, I felt something different from my usual futon. The fluffy texture and the sensation of being completely wrapped up reminded me of my situation.
...I see. I'm in Arensbach, inside the mini bus.
Since the male close aides from the same guest room would come and go for protection, I had closed the window before going to sleep so I wouldn't expose my sleeping face or sleeping posture. The healing potion I had drunk before bed seemed to have worked well, because I could tell that both my physical condition and mana had recovered.
I had gone to sleep right after waschen, so I was still in my riding uniform. After tidying my hair a little with my fingers, I opened the mini bus window slightly. Angelica's back of the head was right nearby.
"Angelica, good morning. I would like you to call an attendant for my preparations..."
"Understood."
Angelica immediately sent an ordnance to Leonore and drove the male close aides out of the room. In their place, Leonore came in with an attendant apprentice.
"Good morning, Lady Rosemine. How are you feeling?"
"I seem to have recovered completely. I feel very refreshed."
When I said that, Leonore, who had looked worried, let out a relieved breath and smiled.
"It has been two full days since Lady Rosemine went to sleep. We were worried because you did not wake up at all."
"Two full days!?"
It seemed I had used an enormous amount of mana and stamina, because I had been sleeping like the dead. My attendants had been anxious over my failure to wake, but Ferdinand, who had specified the dosage, apparently said, "It should take two or three days before she wakes."
"...What is Lord Ferdinand doing now? He's not actually taking this chance to rest too, is he?"
After two days, Ehrenfest's situation had probably changed drastically. Ferdinand would never quietly wait for my recovery in Arensbach. My prediction seemed to be correct, and Leonore nodded.
"Lord Ferdinand departed for Ehrenfest, leading Arensbach and part of Dunkelfelger's knights order."
"So I was left behind?"
He had told me to drink the potion if I wanted to go to Ehrenfest, and then left me behind. Wasn't that a terrible thing to do?
...It was so hard to drink double the dose, too!
"To be precise, the Dunkelfelger knights could no longer be kept in the castle, so Lord Ferdinand had to lead them out. If they are told it is a true ditter, they will act according to the commander's orders, but if they remain in the castle without a proper role, they will want to hold a drinking party they call a reflection meeting, or start a ditter with the Arensbach knights, who are busy with cleanup work, calling it practice before the real thing. In order to drive such Dunkelfelger knights out of the castle, Lord Ferdinand headed for the boundary gate."
"Wait a moment. Then did Lord Ferdinand recover?"
"He did not come out of the secret room for a full day, so I believe he did recover."
After saying that, Leonore told me to come out of the Mount for my preparations. I got out of the mini bus and was seated in front of a mirror.
"Today I will assist you with your preparations. Please call me Faersele."
"You're the attendant apprentice who was rescued together with Lady Leticia, right? Did Lady Leticia and Faersele manage to get some rest?"
When I spoke to the familiar girl, Faersele smiled happily.
"Yes. Lady Leticia is well too. ...Lady Rosemine, thank you for rescuing Lady Leticia."
While preparing to wash my face, Faersele thanked me over and over for Leticia's sake. Starting with the sweets I had sent to save her from the harshness of Ferdinand's assignments, then rescuing her from Lanzanave's ship, and finally deciding to save her not as a lord candidate from a rebellious duchy, but as someone who had been attacked by Lanzanave, Leticia had apparently been greatly helped by my actions. She was now gathering the nobles who had suffered because of Lanzanave, along with Hartmut and Clarissa's brainwashing victims, in order to accept me as their new aub.
