Time flies, three years later.
In the depths of the Domain of Demonic Fury stood an incredibly vast city: Great Demon City. The black city gate alone reached thirty million zhang.
The city was surrounded by towering walls that seemed to touch the sky, and the atmosphere was filled with a heavy, oppressive aura.
Within the city, countless demon clans roamed, their eyes filled with ambition and power. The sounds of battle and laughter echoed through the streets, creating a chaotic yet vibrant scene.
In a grand hall within the city, a gathering was taking place. The young demon lord, who had risen to power over the past three years, stood at the center, exuding an aura of authority.
He was renowned for his strength and cunning, but there was a hint of sadness in his eyes as he gazed out at the assembled crowd.
Amongst them was a familiar figure, Su Bing, whose expression was equally somber. Their eyes met for a brief moment, and an unspoken understanding passed between them.
The young demon lord took a deep breath, ready to address the crowd, but the weight of the past lingered heavily in the air.
He began to speak, his voice steady yet filled with emotion, as he recounted the battles fought and the sacrifices made by their clan. He spoke of the ancestors who had paved the way for their current strength, and the future that lay ahead for them all.
As his words resonated throughout the hall, the crowd listened intently, their expressions shifting from doubt to determination.
Yet, in the back of his mind, he couldn't shake the feeling of loss, the memories of those who had fallen in their quest for power.
The young demon lord glanced at Su Bing once more, the pain in her eyes reflecting his own. He knew that despite the strength they had gained, there were still battles to be fought, both within and outside the city walls.
And so, with a heavy heart but unwavering resolve, he prepared to lead his clan into a new chapter of their existence, one filled with both hope and uncertainty.
As the void rippled like water, Dalwu steered the Divine Vessel, hovering in front of the city gate.
"Your subordinate pays respects to the guardian of the sea demon sovereign." The demon general guarding the city gate knelt on one knee before Dalwu.
On either side of the gate, hundreds of thousands of demons bowed in respect.
"There's no need for formalities," Dalwu rasped, "Open the city gate."
The towering demon general, still kneeling, shook his head and replied, "Reporting to the guardian of the sea demon sovereign, there are three humans aboard your Divine Vessel. I cannot open the city gate for you."
Dalwu said, "He is Elder Tan Yun, the ruler of the four great divine domains of the supreme ancestor realm. He has come to benefit our Demon Clan. Hurry and open the city gate."
The demon general was taken aback and blurted out, "Is he the Elder Tan related to our young demon lord?"
"Of course he is," Dalwu said. "What are you waiting for? Open the gate."
"Reporting to the guardian of the sea demon sovereign, I would like to open it, but you know, the Great Demon Lord has ordered that no one may enter Great Demon City without her consent!" The demon general's expression was troubled.
Hearing this, Dalwu took a deep breath and turned to Tan Yun, clasping his fist in respect, "Elder Tan, please wait a moment."
"It's fine," Tan Yun replied.
"Thank you for your understanding, Elder Tan." After Dalwu spoke, he told the city gate guard, "You go and report this immediately."
"Understood." After the demon general stood up, he opened the city gate and flew into the grand Great Demon City.
One hour later.
Deep within Great Demon City, rows of towering black palaces were magnificently built, with one palace standing out from the rest — the Great Demon Lord's hall.
Inside the hall, the stunningly beautiful Great Demon Lord was discussing something with Yunxi.
"Aunt, you don't need to worry about my matters anymore," Yunxi said.
The Great Demon Lord held Yunxi's hand and sighed, "Xi'er, I know you love Tan Yun deeply, but you also know that you cannot be together."
