"Do you really want to break off the engagement?"

After a long silence, Yu Yunxi finally spoke, her red lips slightly parting.

"Tan Yun, if one day you suddenly find that the person close to you is your nominal enemy, would you kill her?"

Tan Yun glanced sideways at Yu Yunxi, thought for a moment, and said, "I don't know. Yunxi, what’s wrong with you lately? You keep asking strange questions."

Tan Yun chuckled but suddenly thought of something and stared in shock at Yu Yunxi.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Yu Yunxi furrowed her brows.

Tan Yun asked, "Did you kill hundreds of offerings in the Dao Saint realm?"

"Yes, so what?" Yu Yunxi responded.

Tan Yun incredulously said, "You killed so many experts of higher realms and didn't get hurt at all?"

"Nope." Yu Yunxi shrugged her fragrant shoulders, "I told you before, if we fought, I would be ninety percent confident I could defeat you; it’s you who didn’t believe it."

Tan Yun nodded and smiled, "You did say that. I indeed thought it was a joke, but now I somewhat believe it."

In a daze, Tan Yun felt Yu Yunxi had changed, becoming somewhat unfamiliar, to the point where he felt the girl in front of him was no longer the Yu Yunxi he once knew.

Yu Yunxi did not notice the change in Tan Yun's expression, but Shen Subing, who was in the Tower of Longing for the Lord in Tan Yun's sleeve, did.
