Dao Kun clasped his fists towards the emperor, anxious and burning with urgency, “Emperor, how much longer will the training take? Our palace master has lost faith; she urgently needs the Pure Yang Divine Herb to suppress the Fiery Heart Poison Fire. If it is delayed any longer, she will lose her life.”
The emperor, seeing Dao Kun's distress, furrowed his brows and replied, “The training is nearing its end, but the process is intricate. We cannot rush it, or it may result in failure. The life lamp must not be extinguished.”
Dao Kun nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation, but his heart was still heavy with worry.
“Please, Emperor, I implore you to expedite the process. The palace master’s life hangs in the balance,” he pleaded, desperation evident in his voice.
The emperor sighed, “I will do what I can, but you must have patience. The time to act will come soon.”
With that promise, Dao Kun felt a flicker of hope, despite the urgency gnawing at him.
Meanwhile, in a distant chamber, the palace master lay weak and pale, her life force dwindling. The Fiery Heart Poison Fire raged within her, and without the Pure Yang Divine Herb, her condition would only worsen.
Days felt like years as she fought against the encroaching darkness, her thoughts drifting to her loyal followers.
“Yun'er, you must stay strong for me,” she whispered to herself, recalling the gentle face of her beloved disciple.
Back at the Jade Tower, Dao Kun was restless. He paced back and forth, his mind racing with thoughts of the palace master and the looming threat of the Fiery Heart Poison Fire.
Suddenly, a figure appeared before him—Yu Cheng, the fifth prince.
“Dao Kun, what troubles you so?” Yu Cheng inquired, observing Dao Kun’s distressed demeanor.
Dao Kun explained the dire situation, and Yu Cheng’s expression turned serious.
“We must gather the resources needed for the palace master. I will assist you in any way I can,” he declared.
Grateful for the prince's support, Dao Kun felt a renewed sense of determination.
Together, they set off to rally the others, knowing that time was of the essence.
As they made their way through the halls of the palace, they encountered several familiar faces, each willing to lend a hand to save the palace master.
The urgency spread through the palace like wildfire, igniting the spirit of unity among the followers.
In the heart of the palace, the life lamp flickered, a reminder of the palace master’s fragile state and the impending deadline that loomed over them all.
With hearts united and a common goal, they prepared to face whatever challenges lay ahead, driven by the bond they shared with their palace master.
“It’s already over.” The Western Continent Emperor responded to Dao Kun before hurriedly looking at Yu Yunxi and asking, “Xi'er, have you found the Pure Yang Divine Herb?”
“Father Emperor, I’m incompetent, I didn’t find it.” As Yu Yunxi spoke, Tan Yun looked at Dao Kun on the Jade Tower, an anxious expression crossing his face, and an ominous premonition arose, “Could it be that Zi Xi is in trouble?”
“Yun'er, have you found the Pure Yang Divine Herb?” Dao Kun transmitted a message to Tan Yun, “The palace master is running out of time!”
Upon hearing this, Tan Yun trembled, quickly transmitting, “I found it! Please tell me, where is the palace master?”
“In the Guest Hall.” Dao Kun transmitted.
Tan Yun hastily replied, “You must think of a way to bring the palace master to the Seventh Princess's Residence; I will return shortly!”
“Understood.” After transmitting, Dao Kun clasped his fists towards the Western Continent Emperor, “Emperor, I will first bring our palace master to the Seventh Princess's Residence and let Dao Qing Grandmaster think of a way to suppress the Fiery Heart Poison Fire.”
“If you obtain the Pure Yang Divine Fire, send it to the Seventh Princess's Residence.”
“Understood.” The Western Continent Emperor said, “You should hurry!”
