Chapter 875: Cultivating the Banner
With a low hum from his mouth, Han Li’s light shield suddenly expanded several times in size. Then, a white light shot out from his sleeve, swirling in the air before landing in front of him.
It was the snow-white little fox, transformed from Silver Moon.
“The time is too tight; let’s split up and search for that thing,” Han Li said quickly. A faint golden electric orb appeared in his palm amid rolling thunder sounds, and without hesitation, he threw it backward.
With a booming sound, the electric orb transformed into an electric net and wrapped around the white fox’s body.
“Remember! This divine thunder can only last a short while. As soon as you sense it weakening, return to the ground immediately. I’ll come back earlier,” Han Li said solemnly.
“Yes, Master. But what exactly does that Demonic Marrow Crystal look like? I don’t recognize it,” the white fox’s voice came out, an enchanting young woman’s tone, smooth and melodious.
“The Demonic Marrow Crystal is pitch black, like a crystal stone. It contains astonishing demonic energy inside, so it’s easy to identify,” the Great Yin Divine Lord interjected before Han Li could speak.
“In that case, it’s easier. I’ll go first,” the white fox nodded. A silver light flashed from her body before she dove into the stone platform and disappeared.
Han Li didn’t remain idle either. Waving the Jade Ruyi Scepter in his hand, a faint yellow glow appeared on the light shield.
Together with the shield, Han Li sank silently beneath the platform without a sound.
The large platform suddenly became empty.
Time passed slowly, and an eerie silence filled the surroundings. The platform had completely turned into a realm of demonic energy. Clumps of pitch-black demonic energy stretched out like pitch darkness, resembling a hellish underworld.
After an unknown period, a sudden crack of thunder sounded. Then, a flash of golden light appeared, and Han Li emerged on top of the platform, shrouded in his light shield.
Looking around, he didn’t see any sign of Silver Moon. Han Li was momentarily startled, a trace of worry flashing across his face.
Suddenly, he raised a clenched fist, then relaxed his fingers.
In his palm appeared a black, translucent crystal stone, only about the size of a thumb, delicate and exquisite.
“As I expected, a Demonic Marrow Crystal has indeed formed here. Your luck is quite good. This is a treasure ancient demonic path cultivators longed for in the past. Even back then, it was a rare and precious item,” the Great Yin Divine Lord chuckled and said.
“Is that so? Is this really that rare?” Han Li held the crystal in front of his eyes, narrowing them.
Only now did he have time to carefully observe it.
The crystal emitted no light. Instead, its eerie blackness gave off a chilling feeling, as if it could draw a person’s soul and spirit inside.
Han Li shuddered inwardly and hastily withdrew his gaze.
At that moment, silver light flickered on the stone platform beneath his feet. The white fox suddenly shot out from the platform, glowing faintly with golden light, diving straight into Han Li’s light shield.
“If you didn’t come back soon, I was going to summon you myself! I thought you’d return before me. Did you find anything?” The little fox waved, and a patch of azure mist gently lifted her, delivering her right before Han Li’s eyes.
The white fox didn’t say anything but opened her mouth, spitting out three small, pitch-black, crystal-like objects. Whether they were Demonic Marrow Crystals or something else, no one could tell.
“Well done,” Han Li said, somewhat surprised, then his face brightened.
The white fox gave a very human-like smile before suddenly diving back into his sleeve and disappearing.
Han Li placed the three crystals alongside his own and took out a jade box from his storage pouch, neatly arranging the four Demonic Marrow Crystals side by side.
“This time, I must leave,” Han Li said calmly. Then, arcs of electricity sparked outside the light shield, followed by a roar as he slowly ascended into the air.
