Chapter 87: Slightly Showing Skills

"Where is it?" Han Li asked urgently as he came to his senses.

"Over there!"

Following Li Feiyu's gaze, Han Li finally spotted the pale-faced Zhang Xiu'er in the corner of the crowd. She was standing with two other female companions who were also participating in the deathmatch. She wore a white silk dress, her apricot lips slightly bitten, looking as delicate and pitiable as a white flower.

"How could a fragile girl like Miss Zhang be taking part in such a bloody duel? Does that Wang have no sense?" Han Li still couldn't believe his eyes and said in disbelief.

"Xiu'er is also a core disciple of the seven absolutes hall. Haven't I told you?" Li Feiyu said with a bitter smile, revealing a piece of news that surprised Han Li greatly.

Han Li fell silent.

It was clear that the remaining experts of the seven mysteries sect here were few, and their Sect Master Wang showed no mercy. To win the deathmatch, they even sent out a girl like Zhang Xiu'er. It seemed they were going all in.

"Brother, no more nonsense. I'm going to be with Xiu'er. Take care of yourself!" Li Feiyu patted Han Li's shoulder gently and then turned to walk into the crowd.

He had taken only a few steps when a soft sigh came from behind. Then the breeze shifted, and a person appeared beside him. It was Han Li.

"What's the big deal? It's just a death contract duel. Such a small scene won't scare me. Since we're friends, I'll help out with this little favor," Han Li said with a smile.

Without hesitation, Li Feiyu punched his own chest hard and said in a low voice, "Good brother! Thanks a lot!"

Han Li smiled quietly. Just as he said himself, one reason he came along was that he had a long-standing relationship with Li Feiyu, and he didn't want to watch him venture alone. On the other hand, he was confident in his skills. He didn't think the so-called experts of the wild wolf gang could pose much of a threat to him, especially since he had mastered the fireball technique and wind riding technique. Also, he was eager to test his current strength.

The two strode through the crowd and headed straight toward Wang Juechu. Along the way, they tore off the Severing Water Sect clothing, revealing the seven mysteries sect attire underneath.

Han Li and Li Feiyu's sudden appearance in front of the crowd and their abrupt identity switch stunned everyone. For a moment, no one stopped them, allowing them to reach Wang Juechu easily.

"Hall Master Li!"

"Doctor Han!"

At this moment, many disciples of the seven mysteries sect recognized these two renowned members and exclaimed in surprise.

Zhang Xiu'er was overjoyed to see Li Feiyu. Her charming face was full of delight. If it weren't for the many people present, she probably would have already thrown herself into her beloved's arms and whispered her feelings.

Sect Master Wang naturally recognized the two as well. A flicker of surprise flashed in his eyes. Their sudden appearance was quite unexpected.

"Vice Hall Master Li Feiyu of the Outer Blade Hall, greetings, Sect Master," Li Feiyu called out loudly.

"We both wish to sign the life-and-death contract and participate in the blood duel. We hope Sect Master will approve," he said directly before Wang could ask. Han Li stood silently on the side, acting as if Li Feiyu were the leader.

After hearing Li Feiyu's words, Sect Master Wang suppressed the words of reprimand that were about to burst from his throat. A faint smile appeared on his cold face. He said warmly:

"Good! Truly loyal disciples of our seven mysteries sect. With Hall Master Li joining the duel, it surely increases our chances of victory. But Doctor Han, you should not participate. After all, your medical skills are very valuable to our sect. If something unexpected happens during the deathmatch, it would be a great loss."

Upon hearing this, Han Li smiled faintly. Without waiting for Li Feiyu to explain, he swayed his body and suddenly disappeared right under Sect Master Wang's nose.

Sect Master Wang was startled and just about to look around when he heard Han Li's lazy voice from behind.
