Chapter 812: Arctic Primordial Light
The moment Han Li took out the Two Polarity Rings, Marquis of Nanlong and Lu Weiying immediately shifted their positions, their expressions serious as they retreated about a zhang behind Han Li, showing that Han Li was to take the lead from then on.
Han Li held the rings carefully in his hands and opened his mouth. A misty azure spiritual energy burst out, enveloping the rings.
With flickering dark light, all the azure energy was absorbed cleanly into the rings. Then, with a swoosh, the rings flew up to hover above Han Li’s head, motionless.
Han Li’s face remained expressionless as he raised his hand and formed a spell formation that struck the hovering rings.
The Two Polarity Rings trembled lightly, then suddenly contracted and expanded. In an instant, the rings transformed into a giant ring with a diameter of five or six zhang.
“Go,” Han Li said softly, pointing a fair finger at the giant ring.
A strange low hum sounded as the massive ring shot forward.
The gazes of the Marquis of Nanlong and Lu Weiying immediately grew grave.
The giant ring charged into countless threads of light, and an incredible scene unfolded.
The straight threads of light, like ripples on a disturbed water surface, became chaotic the instant the giant ring entered. Amid the flickering dark light, every silver thread, upon touching the outer wall of the ring, miraculously bent away, avoiding the ring and circling around it as if possessed!
Seeing this, Han Li breathed a sigh of relief. Marquis Nanlong and Lu Weiying also showed smiles.
Nonetheless, Han Li remained somewhat curious about the power of the Arctic Primordial Light.
After pondering briefly, he slapped one hand on his storage pouch and produced a fist-sized blue sphere.
This was a high-grade defensive spiritual device he had obtained years ago.
Han Li held the sphere and injected a bit of spiritual power into it.
Instantly, a layer of vivid blue light veil appeared on the surface of the sphere.
Flipping his hand backward, Han Li flicked the sphere, transforming it into a blue light that shot forward.
This time, as the blue light sphere entered the Arctic Primordial Light, the silver threads, as if sensing a delicious prey, trembled and swarmed to surround it tightly.
The slender, hair-thin threads pierced the blue sphere in various places, treating the light veil as if it were nothing.
After a moment, the blue sphere flickered wildly and then exploded from within, transforming into a brilliant glowing mass that vanished amidst the many threads of light.
Han Li’s pupils contracted slightly; Marquis Nanlong and the elder’s faces darkened.
Han Li’s expression quickly returned to normal. He stretched out his hand and summoned the giant ring, which shot back to hover above his head silently, instantly enclosing the three of them.
Then, a dim, dark light shield appeared outside the ring, protecting Han Li and the others inside it.
“Let’s go!” Han Li said briefly without further words, then stepped forward. The Two Polarity Rings moved along with him.
Marquis Nanlong and the elder inside the shield dared not be negligent, obediently following closely.
Though they had witnessed the ring’s miraculous defense against the Arctic Primordial Light, they dared not rely on any personal protection or activate any magical treasures while inside. Though Han Li appeared calm on the surface, he still harbored some unease.
But the next moment, inside the Arctic Primordial Light, seeing the threads of light truly avoid the black light shield and not dare approach, he finally let his guard down slightly.
At that moment, he subtly tilted his head, and the expressions of Marquis Nanlong and the elder on either side of him also relaxed.
Han Li smiled faintly and urged the Two Polarity Rings forward slowly.
...
Elsewhere in Fallen Demon Valley, near the Inner Valley, in a snowy frozen realm, a group of Ghost Spirit Sect cultivators dressed in black robes braved the swirling snowflakes, maneuvering various magical treasures and fighting a gigantic ancient beast resembling a giant gecko.
