Chapter 806: Each Goes Their Own Way

“Go!” The burly man let out a low roar. The Stone Seal spun rapidly, then flashed brightly as it struck toward the distant colored glow.

Two flying swords transformed into streaks of red and white lightning shooting through the sky, following the Stone Seal’s strike.

Sure enough, the Stone Seal magical treasure was extraordinary. Even before hitting the colored glow, the faint sound of wind and thunder could be heard. Then, with a tremendous rumble that shook the earth, various spiritual lights intertwined in an instant, causing the ground nearby to tremble slightly.

Seeing the Stone Seal’s great power, the other two men showed faint smiles of relief on their faces. But the smiles quickly froze at the corners of their mouths.

Because amid the interwoven spiritual light, the seven-colored glow suddenly blazed with intense radiance, and the spiritual light from the three magical treasures was momentarily suppressed beneath it. Then, accompanied by a clear ringing sound from the glow, all three treasures were simultaneously flung away.

The three were startled and hurriedly regained control of their treasures, exchanging uneasy glances.

This formation's power seemed far beyond what they had anticipated.

The burly man snorted, about to say something, when the colored glow around them flickered with spiritual light, turning fiery red.

The three were stunned, still unclear about what was happening, when countless fire clouds began to gather and churn above the formation.

An intense heat instantly filled every corner within the glow.

“What’s going on? Didn’t they say this formation has no offensive power?” The scarred burly man shouted in shock and anger.

But the other two had no time to answer his question, as the fire clouds descended mercilessly.

At once, the three, including the burly man, shuddered in terror. They hurriedly activated their treasures to shield their entire bodies and frantically slapped several spiritual talismans on themselves.

Various attribute shields flickered brightly around them.

The red, blazing clouds quickly engulfed all three.

Moments later, three piercing screams emerged from the fire clouds, then silence fell.

After a while, the fire clouds dispersed on their own, the colored glow faded away, and the rubble-strewn ground was empty.

Only the three magical treasures lay on the ground, their radiance dull and faint, as if their spiritual essence had been severely depleted.

...

Only a few cultivators encountered misfortune upon entering Fallen Demon Valley, merely seven or eight cases. But more than half of them died because of it.

In the valley, any misstep was almost immediately life-threatening. Even a nascent soul cultivator from a mid-tier sect, momentarily careless, perished beneath a spatial rift.

Han Li didn’t know what had happened to others, but in this most dangerous place in Tian Nan, he naturally remained cautious every step of the way.

But at this moment, he was pleasantly surprised.

Above a barren patch of land, he stood with his hands folded behind his back, eyes wide open staring ahead. Blue light flickered within his pupils, dazzling and piercing.

To outsiders, Han Li’s glowing blue eyes seemed somewhat strange and uncanny. But Han Li paid no mind to such things.

The space ahead was empty, even after scanning with spiritual awareness. Everything seemed normal.

But with the full exertion of the Mingqing Spiritual Eye, Han Li saw a blurry arc of light several feet long, flickering faintly about a dozen yards ahead.

Han Li took a deep breath, gradually dimming the blue light in his eyes as his expression became unsettled.

He could now be certain: the Spiritual Eye magical ability truly could detect invisible spatial rifts that spiritual awareness could not.

This pleasant surprise made him feel that all the spirit liquid he had painstakingly used to prepare the Mingqing Spirit Water for cleansing his eyes was well worth it.

This meant his life was much safer in Fallen Demon Valley.
