Chapter 785: The Sword Formation Unfolds
Although Han Li didn’t know exactly how formidable the so-called "Seven Dragon Stakes" were, hearing the panic in Silver Moon’s voice naturally made his heart tighten.
With a flick of his large sleeve, thirty-six green bamboo bee cloud swords emitted a humming sound as they swiftly flew out from within.
Since he knew the opponent was no ordinary demon cultivator, Han Li had no intention of probing cautiously. Instead, he directly deployed his newly forged flying swords, aiming to defeat the enemy in one decisive strike.
Thirty-six golden lights about a foot long swirled above Han Li’s head. Several consecutive spell formations were cast upon them.
Immediately, all the golden lights trembled lightly, then split into over a hundred identical sword lights, radiating dazzling brilliance.
Just as Han Li was about to hasten the spell formation to form the Great Geng Sword Formation with these sword lights, seven light pillars around him launched their attack first.
The silver dragons on the pillars simultaneously turned their heads toward Han Li in the center. Their mouths opened wide, shining with silver light, as if about to unleash something.
Without hesitation, Han Li pressed a blue shield before him. A flash of spiritual light transformed the treasure into a layer of misty blue water curtain, enveloping him completely. With his other hand, he cast out a brocade handkerchief, which turned into a white, dense mist surrounding the water curtain.
At the same time, a white shadow shot out from Han Li’s sleeve, landing on the ground and transforming into a graceful and stunningly beautiful woman — it was Silver Moon, having possessed the body of a demonic fox, who had run out on her own.
Han Li was caught off guard, but Silver Moon waved her hand, sending out a beam of purple light — it was the Purple Cloud Net.
In her anxious state, Silver Moon transformed this ancient treasure into a purple flame net, layering an additional protective barrier on the outermost layer.
Han Li’s heart sank. He had set up two layers of protection, yet Silver Moon still felt it insufficient. Could the "Seven Dragon Stakes" really be that powerful?
The thought had barely arisen when seven silver dragons simultaneously expelled streams of silver light silently. These were seven tangible silver light pillars.
Seven silver beams, as thick as a bowl’s mouth, flashed and collided with the purple flame net formed by the Purple Cheng Net.
The silver light and purple flames intertwined, but the purple net could only hold out briefly before being pierced through with seven gaping holes, as if spring sunlight melting snow.
The seven silver beams, still fierce, then struck the mist formed by the brocade handkerchief.
Upon contact, the mist churned violently, showing signs of collapse.
Han Li gasped inwardly and his expression slightly shifted.
At this rate, the three layers of defense he had laid out would be destroyed almost instantly. What kind of attack were these light pillars wielding to be so formidable?
As Han Li pondered this, Silver Moon, upon witnessing the situation, actually relaxed.
“So it’s a counterfeit. You really made me worry for a moment!” Silver Moon muttered, then formed a hand seal. From her mouth, a fragrant mist sprayed out, along with a pink orb.
The orb was about thumb-sized and emitted a strong fragrance.
Following that, a pleasant and low chant sounded from Silver Moon’s mouth. She pointed a delicate finger at the orb.
With a soft "pop," the orb burst open on its own, transforming into countless sparkling, brilliantly colored powder particles that flew toward the blue water curtain.
Han Li was momentarily stunned but made no move to stop it.
The water curtain absorbed the powder, emitting a bright spiritual light. Its surface suddenly brightened, looking as if it was composed of countless bronze mirrors of equal size.
At this moment, the silver light shattered the outer white mist without hesitation and struck the final layer of defense.
