Chapter 637: Invitation
Upon hearing this transmission, Han Li furrowed his brows for a moment, then relaxed.
“Silver Moon, release the restriction and let the two elders of the Luoyun Sect in first. This matter will have to be explained to them sooner or later. But once the restriction is lifted, you should no longer show yourself. After all, your demonic fox body is adept at concealment and illusion techniques, but the demonic aura you carry cannot be hidden from nascent soul stage cultivators,” Han Li instructed calmly.
“Yes, Master,” Silver Moon responded respectfully, gliding gracefully toward the exit.
A moment later, outside Stone Mountain, the two Luoyun Sect elders waiting suddenly noticed the scenery of Stone Mountain change. What had seemed like an ordinary rocky cliff now suddenly revealed a vast expanse of azure mist shrouding the entire small mountain. Within the mist, deadly aura surged fiercely and runes floated—clearly a powerful restriction formation was set.
The silver-haired elder and the cultivator surnamed LĂĽ exchanged a glance and bitterly smiled.
The other party had established a secluded mansion within the Luoyun Sect’s spiritual land and set up such a formidable formation, yet as the hosts, they had not noticed a thing. This was truly embarrassing. At the very least, their close friends would surely tease them mercilessly.
At this moment, Han Li’s faint voice echoed from within the mist.
“I have borrowed the spiritual land of your esteemed sect for cultivation, and I apologize for not informing you in advance. Please do not take offense. I am now releasing the restriction; please enter the mansion for a chat.”
Han Li’s words were extremely polite and tactful.
“Haha! Fellow cultivator, there’s no need for such formalities! It’s an honor to have you condense your nascent soul here within our Luoyun Sect. How could we be displeased? It’s just that we came in haste and didn’t prepare a congratulatory gift for your infant formation—somewhat shameful of us,” the silver-haired elder laughed heartily, showing no sign of displeasure.
“You flatter me, fellow cultivator. I am deeply indebted to have condensed my nascent soul here,” Han Li replied calmly.
With these words, the azure mist churned violently, parting to form a passage about two or three zhang wide before them.
Seeing this, the two elders did not hesitate and immediately flew through the passage, reaching a large blue stone gate in an instant.
The stone gate was wide open, and in front stood a young man in a blue robe, about twenty years old, with an ordinary appearance but a smile at the corner of his mouth—it was Han Li, coming out to welcome them.
“Please come in, fellow cultivators!” Han Li smiled at them as he gestured them inside the mansion.
“We apologize for the intrusion,” the two elders also showed no reservation, briefly clasped their fists, and followed Han Li through the stone gate.
Afterward, the azure mist churned again, the passage disappeared, and the restriction resealed itself as before.
Though the two elders sensed this, they reassured themselves since this place was within the Luoyun Sect and therefore had no cause for concern.
After walking a short distance with Han Li, they entered a spacious hall.
“Fellow cultivators, please try the spiritual tea I refined,” Han Li said after they sat down. With a wave of his spiritual awareness, a giant ape puppet slowly walked in holding a tea tray. On the tray were three cups of freshly brewed clear tea, which it placed before the three of them before silently retreating.
“Good tea! But I didn’t expect that fellow cultivator Han would practice mechanical puppet technique. That’s quite rare,” the silver-haired elder praised lightly after tasting the tea, then stared at the direction where the giant ape puppet had disappeared, somewhat surprised.
“It’s nothing much. I only have a rough understanding of puppetry and made a few puppets to command. It’s hardly worthy of your attention,” Han Li replied casually.
