Chapter 636: Infant Formation (3)

With a soft “bang,” the round pearl suddenly flashed brightly, transforming into a ball of multicolored rosy mist about a few meters in diameter. It quickly flew downward and vanished into the Stone Mountain in the blink of an eye. At the same time, the nearby heavenly phenomena of wind, rain, thunder, and lightning instantly disappeared, and everything returned to normal.

This sudden change left the nearby cultivators wide-eyed and dumbfounded, each unsure of how to react.

At that moment, a sound resembling a dragon’s roar echoed from within the Stone Mountain, soaring up into the nine heavens. The sky and earth seemed to change color in response, and a humanoid light shadow about a hundred meters tall appeared atop the Stone Mountain.

The light shimmered with four colors of spiritual light, and its hands and feet were astonishingly thick. Because the spiritual light on its face was so intense, no one could discern the giant’s detailed features. Everyone only felt that this figure radiated extreme majesty, making them too intimidated to look up directly.

Even more terrifying was that the figure gave a slight nod, and two stern beams of light swept across the crowd. Wherever the beams passed, people instantly held their breath.

One by one, sounds of “thud” echoed as some cultivators sank heavily to the ground, half-kneeling as if crushed by a great mountain, unable to move an inch.

A few cultivators with deeper cultivation managed to barely stand firm, though their knees trembled slightly and veins bulged on their foreheads, looking extremely strained.

While these cultivators trembled in fear and secretly cursed their luck, the giant light shadow seemed to smile before suddenly dissolving into countless stars, scattering and disappearing.

This scene left everyone dumbstruck.

...

Inside the quiet chamber of Little Stone Mountain, Han Li sat cross-legged on the ground, eyes tightly shut. Yet above his forehead, at the point called the Heavenly Spirit Apex, a tiny infant about an inch tall was climbing and playing atop his hair bun.

The infant was plump and fair, surrounded by an azure light shield. Its appearance was identical to Han Li’s, except that its face was full of excited laughter, vastly different from Han Li’s usual silent and reserved expression.

Beneath the infant, Han Li’s real body looked rosy and serene, as if in a deep sleep.

After some time, the infant seemed to grow tired from playing. It yawned, then with a flash of azure light, dove back into Han Li’s body through the Heavenly Spirit Apex.

Han Li’s expression shifted. His eyelids trembled slightly before he finally opened his eyes, revealing a pair of bright, clear, and restrained eyes.

Upon waking, Han Li did not get up immediately. Instead, a strange and complex expression of wild joy mixed with peculiarity crossed his face.

He suddenly stretched out a hand, repeatedly examining it beneath his eyelids several times. Then, with one hand raised, he touched the top of his head, his face full of disbelief.

After a good while—about the time it takes to drink a cup of tea—Han Li’s excited expression gradually faded, and he finally returned to normal.

He glanced around the quiet chamber, stretched lazily, and then stood up. Flicking his finger, a streak of azure light shot toward the stone door.

The chamber door immediately shimmered with light and silently rose.

“Congratulations, Master, on forming your nascent soul!”

Silver Moon, who had transformed into the form of a beautiful young married woman, stood outside the chamber. Upon seeing Han Li emerge, she immediately bowed respectfully, addressing him as “Master” with a tone of deference that surprised Han Li.

“Master? Looks like you, fellow cultivator Silver Moon, only truly recognize me now! But that’s normal. Your cultivation base was never below mine. If I hadn’t succeeded in forming my nascent soul, how could you sincerely accept me?” Han Li stroked his chin and replied casually.
