Chapter 538: Words of a Servant Concubine

On the island, there were several mountains hundreds of zhang tall, lush and green, covered with many trees.

After flying around these mountain peaks, Han Li landed at the foot of one of the mountains with Wen Siyue.

Under the astonished gaze of the woman, Han Li released his flying sword. After several hours of work, he opened up a small secluded mansion at the base of this mountain.

Though this secluded mansion was only half the size of his original one in the Sea of Mist, and its structures were much simpler,

it still had all the necessary rooms: bedrooms, secret chambers, even a refining room and an herb garden.

Han Li looked it over and felt fairly satisfied. He then set up a few magic formations at the entrance before leading Wen Siyue inside.

“From now on, you will live here. I will teach you the incantation for the formation at the entrance. This place is relatively secluded; you can cultivate well here. There’s even a chance you can enter the foundation formation stage,” Han Li said leisurely as he walked into the bedroom, sitting on a roughly carved stone chair. He carefully observed the woman before speaking.

“Thank you, Senior Li!” Wen Siyue blushed slightly under Han Li’s gaze, seeming somewhat embarrassed.

“Senior Li?” Han Li chuckled.

“Sorry, I should address you as…” Wen Siyue quickly lowered her head, showing hesitation and uncertainty.

She truly didn’t know how to address this man now that she had become his servant concubine.

“You can just call me Mr. Li,” Han Li said lightly, rubbing his nose.

He had not revealed his true appearance to Wen Siyue, still maintaining the guise of a middle-aged man.

“Yes, Mr. Li!” Wen Siyue called obediently after a moment of hesitation.

Han Li nodded with satisfaction. After some thought, he gently asked,

“Wen Daoist, when did you arrive in the Outer Star Sea? How did Madam Fan become the sect leader of Miaoyin Sect? As far as I know, Miaoyin Sect has always been led by Immortal Maiden Zi Ling.”

“Oh! You seem pretty well-informed about our sect’s past!” Wen Siyue’s beautiful eyes flashed with surprise. Since Han Li didn’t rush to ask about the demonic beast lair but instead inquired about Miaoyin Sect, she was somewhat taken aback.

After some thought, she slightly parted her lips and explained,

“Before Miaoyin Sect relocated to the Outer Star Sea, everything inside the sect was indeed decided by the young sect master. But later, when he went to the Void Heaven Hall to retrieve a treasure, a shocking change occurred within our sect. When I returned, Right Envoy Zhuo was nowhere to be found. The sect’s power had fallen into the hands of Left Envoy Fan and a group of outsiders. Later I learned they were demonic path cultivators. Miaoyin Sect had become a vassal to the demonic path. Left Envoy Fan immediately declared herself sect leader and quickly gathered a large number of disciples to pass through Tianxing City’s teleportation formation to arrive here. I was dragged along at that time.

Since then, our sect established a secret market here, which has continued until now. Those female disciples with divided loyalties over the years have disappeared or were sent away. Most have vanished without a trace. If it weren’t for you saving me today, I too would have inevitably become someone’s furnace vessel,” Wen Siyue said with some sadness.

“Why did Sect Master Fan come to the Outer Star Sea? It can’t be just to open a secret market, right?” Han Li’s expression shifted slightly as he asked discreetly.

“I don’t know much about that! But Left Envoy Fan and that Yun-named demonic path cultivator have been using the secret market to gather various kinds of information. It seems like they’re searching for something,” Wen Siyue replied uncertainly, a hint of suspicion flashing across her face.

Han Li stopped questioning and pondered silently.

According to this woman, it seemed that after she was saved by him that day, the rebellion in Miaoyin Sect had already happened.
