Chapter 534: Nestled Among Blossoms

“Senior Li, please come in!” The woman pushed open the stone gate and respectfully gestured for Han Li to enter first.

Han Li nodded and stepped inside without saying a word. The woman followed closely behind.

The stone gate automatically closed behind them, transforming back into an ordinary wall.

Once inside, Han Li saw a bluestone corridor. At the end, faint white light flickered, suggesting the passage wasn’t very long.

Han Li silently advanced, and after turning a corner, another large open stone gate suddenly appeared ahead.

Outside the gate stood a middle-aged cultivator with a gloomy expression, mid core formation stage, dressed in scholarly blue robes.

When he saw Han Li, his face immediately broke into a broad smile, and he cupped his hands in greeting.

“Are you Daoist Li? I am Yun Tianxiao, the host here. Welcome to this exchange meeting. Most of the other fellow cultivators have already arrived. Miss Wen, be sure to take good care of Brother Li—don’t neglect him!” The scholar Yun was unusually courteous to Han Li, then casually instructed the woman with a calm tone.

“Daoist Wen?”

This title naturally revealed the identity of the woman in white—she was Wen Siyue, daughter of Wen Qiang from the Miaoyin Sect, whom Han Li had once encountered by chance.

It was unclear what had happened to her that she’d appear here.

Han Li was naturally surprised to see her again.

Of course, because he was using the shape-shifting technique, Han Li recognized her, but she did not recognize him.

Hearing Yun Tianxiao’s words, Wen Siyue’s delicate expression suddenly changed. She quickly responded from behind Han Li.

Though Han Li did not turn around, he vaguely sensed that Wen Siyue was extremely afraid of Yun Tianxiao.

A flicker of surprise crossed Han Li’s eyes, but after a gentle smile, he exchanged some polite words with the scholar before entering the gate.

Inside was a square hall. In the center stood a large round table, surrounded sparsely by more than a dozen grand armchairs, most of which were already occupied by cultivators.

However, when Han Li carefully looked at the cultivators sitting in these chairs, a strange expression appeared on his face.

Except for two core formation stage female cultivators sitting alone, the male core formation stage cultivators all had beautiful, alluring female cultivators nestled beside them. These women were mostly qi refining stage cultivators at level twelve or thirteen, or early foundation establishment stage.

Every one of them was young and beautiful, with extraordinary looks.

As Han Li was lost in thought, a gentle fragrance suddenly wafted by his side. A soft, delicate body trembled as it leaned against him.

Han Li’s body stiffened slightly. He slowly turned his face and saw an expressionless, pretty face entering his view.

It was Wen Siyue who had taken the initiative to come closer, instantly filling the air around him with a captivating aroma.

Han Li furrowed his brow slightly but didn’t push her away with false politeness.

Instead, glancing at the other female cultivators beside the men, he revealed a look of understanding.

After some thought, he stretched out his arm to wrap around her slim waist and strode toward an empty grand armchair, settling firmly into it.

Wen Siyue, like the other women beside the men, reluctantly sat down with him, half of her body leaning into Han Li’s embrace.

For a moment, the warmth and enchanting fragrance filled him, and he felt fortunate indeed.

Just as Wen Siyue remained silent and her body stiffened a bit, the arm embracing her slender waist loosened slightly.

This surprised Wen Siyue, who instinctively glanced at Han Li, showing a trace of suspicion.

But at that moment, Han Li was calmly surveying the others.

The seven or eight core formation stage cultivators present naturally gave Han Li a once-over.

Although they found Han Li’s face unfamiliar, no one showed any unusual expression. On the contrary, most smiled kindly at him.
