Chapter 451: Turning Hostile
No need to ask, this little thing must be the incarnation of the “Nine-Twisted Spiritual Ginseng.”
Han Li eagerly stared at the White Rabbit.
As the Great Yin Technique operated at full power, the clear spiritual energy on the White Rabbit’s body was dazzlingly brilliant.
Truly a wondrous creature born of heaven and earth’s creation!
Han Li felt a surge of emotion in his heart but did not relax in the slightest. He had already formed a spell formation with his hand, staring intently at the White Rabbit without letting up.
The rabbit below sniffed around the grand formation for a while, then its two fiery red eyes circled the jade box several times.
Obviously, it was somewhat dissatisfied with just sniffing in place and seemed to be scheming something.
Seeing how intelligent this rabbit was, Han Li grew even more cautious, a trace of tension showing on his face.
After all, the “Nine-Twisted Spiritual Ginseng” was most skilled in escape and evasion techniques. One small mistake could ruin all prior efforts.
The little creature circled around the grand formation, its two long ears twitching constantly. It seemed to detect an anomaly in the nearby spiritual energy and hesitated to enter the formation.
Han Li grew anxious!
He thought that the ginseng incarnation had seen through the trap and would no longer enter the formation. He considered whether to forcibly summon the Golden Net now to capture it.
But his confidence in that move was pitifully low.
While Han Li was hesitating, the White Rabbit's figure flashed suddenly. After a few leaps, it disappeared into the nearby wild grass.
Watching this from the tree, Han Li was stunned.
Just as Han Li was lost in thought, another flicker of white light from the grass saw the White Rabbit suddenly dart at incredible speed, leaving afterimages, instantly flying from the grass to the jade box. It lowered its head to grasp the contents within the box in its mouth, then without hesitation, turned and rushed outward.
Though Han Li was momentarily dazed by the rabbit’s rapid successive actions, he quickly regained his senses. There was no way he would let it escape using such a small trick.
Immediately, a yellow light shot down like an arrow from the tree, striking the White Rabbit’s intended jump path.
The little creature was startled and twisted midair, drawing an arc to launch itself in another direction.
But it was already too late.
Suddenly, a square-shaped yellow light shield rose around them, firmly sealing the area.
The White Rabbit crashed headfirst into the light barrier and was bounced back.
It rolled several times on the ground before shaking its small head and standing up again, eyes full of panic.
However, it immediately flashed with white light and suddenly transformed into a fist-sized, multicolored light orb, quickly burrowing underground.
But after a flash of yellow light, the orb only penetrated a few inches before being pushed back by a burst of yellow blades.
This time it was truly desperate. The multicolored orb buzzed inside the light barrier like a fly trapped in a jar, hitting the barrier repeatedly but without exception, it was blocked every time.
At that moment, a golden light shot down from the tree, instantly covering the orb mid-leap with a golden silk orb.
A figure flickered, and Han Li appeared on the ground.
The golden light flew straight to his hand—it was the golden silk net given to him by the revered master of the mysterious bones.
Inside the net, the White Rabbit revealed its true form, struggling fiercely. Its figure blurred and sharpened repeatedly, sometimes growing large, sometimes shrinking small, but all efforts were in vain.
The golden silk net changed size along with the rabbit’s form, firmly binding it inside.
Seeing this, Han Li smiled with satisfaction.
He brought the golden net closer for a moment to inspect the White Rabbit, then without hesitation, hung the net at his waist and sat cross-legged in the center of the grand formation, showing no sign of stopping the formation.
