Chapter 383: Core Formation Battle
The Divine Wind Boat flew at an incredible speed. Driven by Han Li’s late foundation establishment cultivation base, it shot forward like an arrow released from a bowstring, almost carrying the sharp “shsh” sound of breaking through the air. Before long, the Divine Wind Boat arrived right in front of the Nameless Islet.
When Han Li saw the familiar reefs nearby where he had stayed before, he finally exhaled slightly. He raised his hand to wipe the cold sweat from his brow and turned his head to look back.
Suddenly, a chilling sensation crept up from behind him!
Startled, Han Li instinctively stomped his foot on the Divine Wind Boat.
In an instant, both he and the magical artifact abruptly drifted to one side, flying out about ten yards from the original spot.
Almost simultaneously, a deep yellow streak flashed past where Han Li had been standing moments ago. It flew forward another twenty or thirty yards before the yellow light dimmed, revealing a figure.
Han Li wiped the sticky cold sweat off his face and glanced at the newcomer, forcing a bitter smile.
The person before him had messy hair draped over his shoulders—it was Elder Gu of the Six-Linked Hall!
At this moment, Elder Gu was standing on a round earth-yellow magical treasure, staring silently at Han Li. His gaze was icy cold, as if Han Li were already a corpse in his eyes.
More than ten yards behind this Evil God stood the exact spot where Han Li had laid out a grand formation. This realization chilled Han Li to the bone.
However, Han Li knew well that any questioning or pleading now would be useless.
The only option was to fight this core formation stage “senior” and hope to use the power of the formation to trap him.
With this thought, Han Li hardened his heart.
At his command, Quhun flashed forward, blocking in front of Han Li. Blood-colored light flickered from Quhun’s body, enveloping him in an aura heavy with the stench of blood.
Han Li’s hands glowed suddenly, producing two magical artifacts.
Seeing Han Li and Quhun preparing to resist, Elder Gu’s eyes flashed coldly. The round magical treasure beneath his feet immediately gave out a long, shrill cry. Yellow blades of light surged, enveloping him like armor in a brilliant yellow glow.
Then, Elder Gu suddenly spread his hands wide. Dense yellow light dots shot out from his fingers, spinning rapidly before morphing into palm-sized Crescent Moon Light Blades. They surged silently toward Han Li and Quhun.
Startled, Han Li breathed a sigh of relief.
This opponent’s magical treasure was not speed-type like Lei Wanhe’s, which gave him a chance to survive.
Han Li braced himself and raised both hands.
One hand flung out a giant tortoise shell magical artifact, which expanded immediately after being released. The other suddenly produced a gleaming small mirror that emitted a vast expanse of azure light, shooting directly at the incoming blades.
“Puff puff” sounds rang out continuously as some of the front blades slowed dramatically under the azure light’s effect.
But more Crescent Moon Blades from behind rushed forward, eager to penetrate the azure light. In an instant, the azure light shattered into fragments like stars.
Meanwhile, the mirror in Han Li’s hand cracked in the middle with a “snap,” completely destroyed.
Han Li threw away the broken mirror without regret.
Without even looking, he slapped his storage pouch. Two black lights and five white lights flew out, circling above his head before flying forward in formation.
Still not willing to give up, Han Li summoned seven or eight white lights beside him. Seven or eight puppet beast soldiers appeared on both sides, drawing their bows and ready to fire.
The blade group had already struck the giant tortoise shell, and the moment they touched its surface, countless deep cuts appeared. The artifact could only withstand for a moment before breaking into many pieces with a mournful sound.
Using that moment’s gap, Han Li’s seven or eight top-grade magical artifacts arrived ahead of Quhun, spinning and weaving a black-and-white blade curtain.
