Chapter 375: The Two Beauties

The port of Kui Xing Island was as bustling as ever. Numerous large and small sea vessels constantly went in and out, weaving back and forth. From time to time, various beams of light flashed in the sky as immortal cultivators flew in and out. The mortals on the ground were all used to it, having seen it countless times.

But today, a streak of white light shot from outside the island, as fast as lightning. It paused briefly above the port before speeding straight toward the island’s interior.

Anyone close enough could clearly see two figures flickering within the white light: Han Li, who had just completed the first stage of the triple cycle rejuvenation technique and whose magical power had advanced to the peak of foundation establishment; and his clone, quhun, whose cultivation base had nearly caught up to Han Li’s due to the massive accumulation of pills.

Over more than twenty years of condensed true essence cultivation, Han Li’s cultivation techniques had become much purer and more solid than those of cultivators at the same level. That quhun had kept pace with his cultivation base during this time brought Han Li great joy.

If it weren’t for quhun needing several special auxiliary items to condense the death core, and Han Li himself needing to prepare for foundation formation, he would not have left his secluded mansion on Xiaohuan Mountain.

For this trip out, he made up his mind: aside from buying some items and retrieving a batch of spirit stones promised long ago by Owner Gu of the Gu Family, he would return straight to the mountain without visiting other places.

After all, this was a crucial period in his cultivation, and he couldn’t afford distractions.

With this in mind, the Divine Wind Boat carried Han Li and quhun straight toward the center of the island — Kui Xing City.

Han Li still had many spirit stones on him, so there was no rush to visit the Gu Family first. It made more sense to buy what he needed first since it was more convenient.

After several hours, Han Li faintly saw a huge city enclosed by tall walls.

Although he had never been to Kui Xing City before, the map’s markings and the city’s magnificent aura left no doubt.

As he thought this, Han Li suddenly felt the Divine Wind Boat beneath him grow heavier, as if it weighed over a thousand pounds.

He was slightly startled but quickly realized he had stepped into a restrictive enchantment.

This city truly deserved to be the largest on Kui Xing Island — it had set up a vast no-fly zone at such a long distance.

In fact, with Han Li’s cultivation base at the peak of foundation establishment, he could have ignored the restriction and continued flying, though it would have consumed more magical power.

But Han Li preferred not to attract attention. Pressing down on the front of the Divine Wind Boat, the magical artifact slowly descended.

Han Li and quhun disembarked calmly and stood on the ground.

After shrinking the Divine Wind Boat and putting it into his storage pouch, Han Li looked toward the distant city and smiled as he slowly walked forward with quhun.

Kui Xing City was at least three to four times larger than another city Han Li had visited before — East Stone City!

Walking along one of the streets, Han Li stared at the wide road that could easily accommodate several beast-drawn carts side by side, feeling somewhat emotional.

He casually asked a mortal nearby where Heavenly Capital Street was, then without hesitation, headed north with quhun.

“Is this the so-called Heavenly Capital Street?” Han Li looked around in surprise, his expression filled with astonishment.

Before him was a huge white, misty light shield enveloping the entire northern district of Kui Xing City. This was no mere street — it could easily contain hundreds of them. This was nothing like the lone, solitary street he had imagined.

But what shocked Han Li most was a giant pavilion floating more than thirty zhang above the ground in the middle of this district.
