Chapter 201: Martial Maniac

The barefoot burly man’s heart blazed with anger upon hearing this! This woman was barely able to protect herself, yet she kept pushing his limits again and again!

“Good! Good! Good!”

In his fury, he laughed bitterly and repeated the word "good" three times.

“Then today, you’ll die right here!”

With that, he pointed at the silver Greatsword. Immediately, it radiated a dazzling sword radiance before descending mercilessly like the weight of Mount Tai, slashing fiercely at the girl’s head.

Seeing this, the girl gritted her teeth and hurriedly commanded her silk scarf to transform into a yellow disc the size of a cartwheel to block the attack head-on.

With a “shri-la” sound, the once top-tier magical artifact, now at its last breath, was shattered into countless fragments by the fully unleashed power of the silver Greatsword, scattering all around. The silver sword’s brilliance flickered, and under the control of the burly man, it ruthlessly continued to strike towards the girl below, who was wearing a grim smile.

With a clear “clang,” the silver sword was intercepted about three meters above the girl’s head by a golden flying blade shot from the side. The golden blades then danced into a cluster of golden light above the girl, firmly blocking the silver sword from descending even an inch.

“Who’s there? Show yourself!” The barefoot man’s face darkened. He waved his hand to retract the silver Greatsword and his eyes flashed like lightning as he swept toward one side, fixating on a huge boulder. He clearly saw that the golden blades had shot out from there.

“Hehe! The weather’s quite nice today! Why all the fighting? Wouldn’t it be better to sit down and talk things over?” A figure from the Stone House flickered, revealing an ordinary-looking young man in yellow robes. He scratched his head, looked up at the sky, and laughed awkwardly.

But the young man’s expression was full of helplessness. It was none other than Han Li, who couldn’t help but intervene when he saw the girl in green clothes in mortal danger and saved her.

Han Li, upon seeing the girl’s battered state, acted without a second thought. He could only look up to the sky in silence, feeling speechless. This was completely against his usual principle of staying out of trouble, yet he had unwittingly invited this mess upon himself. Truly a case of a femme fatale!

However, Han Li knew this was mainly because the girl had left a deep impression on him. He couldn’t just stand by and watch a woman he felt some fondness for die right before his eyes. It seemed his heart wasn’t as cold, nor was he the ruthless warlord type who would betray family and friends.

Han Li gave a bitter smile, lost in his thoughts.

But with trouble already stirred up, he had to steel himself to deal with it. Fortunately, having fought against Treasure Girl and Feng Yue before, Han Li had some confidence in contending with these elite disciples. So he remained calm and had already grasped a few items in his hands.

“Is that you?” The green-clad girl finally recognized Han Li’s face and, covering her mouth, exclaimed in disbelief.

Seeing the girl only now realized who her savior was, Han Li showed a puzzled expression, both annoyed and amused.

On the surface, he gave the girl a faint nod, then turned back to the barefoot man and said:

“What do you think of my suggestion? Why don’t you let this young lady go, and you take your own path while I take mine? We each mind our own business, no harm done, right?”

Han Li still held onto the hope that if possible, he could avoid fighting. After all, randomly picking a fight with a skilled opponent and risking his life was hardly wise!

But Han Li never expected the barefoot man to ignore his words completely and instead fixate on the Golden Toad Mother Blade in his hand. To the man, this golden blade seemed far more interesting than Han Li himself.

The opponent’s attitude made Han Li secretly a little annoyed! He suppressed his displeasure and was about to say something more when the barefoot man suddenly spoke, catching Han Li off guard.
